So I did a ton of research on computer monitors in the $200ish range. Ultimately I settled on the Viewsonic VX2453mh-LED.

However, I'm not entirely sure where to order it from. I'm currently deciding between 3 different websites. My concerns are, what happens if I have a dead pixel or more? Newegg has an 8 dead pixel policy. I can't imagine being happy with a monitor that has like 6 dead pixels. I also want it shipped kind of fast. I've had great experiences ordering things from newegg in the past, so I'm torn. My current choices are...

Tiger Direct
Newegg
J&R

I've never ordered anything from J&R or Tiger Direct before. I'm considering Tiger Direct right now because for their 2 day shipping the total comes out to $222, and at Newegg the total also comes out to $222 despite it having free 3 day shipping thanks to tax and something called "EWRA". But I also know nothing of Tiger Direct and it's return policies or general customer service, which I've heard Newegg is very good in that regard (except for the dead pixel issue...which I dread running into). As for J&R, I just threw them in as another option because I like options.

I just kind of don't want to get screwed I guess should something go wrong. So I would like advice. Who do I order from?

Why is Amazon not on your list? They'll take practically anything back, no questions asked.

This specific monitor is shipped and sold by J&R if ordered on Amazon. Or at least last I checked...

Edit2: Oh nevermind! It's available on Amazon. They're an option now too o_o.

It's shipped from Amazon. Amazon usually has the best price, and their return policy is better than anyone out there IMO.

Heh. With 2 day shipping, it's 221 on Amazon. Or I could start a prime trial and get the 2 day shipping free. Hopefully a prime trial would be easy to cancel before they charge me for it >.>.
