first time i saw some euro flags on a tree, so i clicked the UK one...

after a while the browser seemed to stall so i reloaded...

Service Unavailable

WAY TO GO!!!

I don't get it. Strange talking rabbits, colors and rainbows...
I think it has to do something with drug-abuse. This would fit with Amsterdam as the venue of X05.

There are way too many loading screens, they just loaded the rabbits going down a hole o_O don't see the point of that.

Edit: The rabbits are very cute :D the smaller one the most!

This whole thing is for a prize draw for 2 tickets only? That really sucks.

...and the world expressed a hearty "WTF!"

The least I expected was the chance for the public to playtest the 360 somewhere in Europe, I'd hoped London. (But would have settled for Amsterdam)

...and this is what we get instead?

Now I remember why hype sucks, disappointment guaranteed!

What about other countries, other EU members? We are non-existant to Microsoft. :(

Actually this is stage one, maybe the other prizes are more general public aimed.

I've already entered the contest even though I'm not eligible. That would be great to win a trip to the United States to play Xbox 360, especially since I've already won an Xbox 360 and am in the United States. :lol

I wouldn't take the prize if I won.

:lol :lol :lol

i'm in the same boat too, i basically entered just to see what would happen after i filled in the info...

The video they have to describe what this Origen event is, is both extremely vague and bizarre.

Oh and if you're prone to seizures I'm warning you not to give the fruit to the rabbit.

I wonder if Microsoft delivers this price half a year late like they did with my HDTV won in GDC... Well, I guess that'd be an E3 trip, then!

Well that was surreal. Rather liked the site, lots of nifty animations. Pity I'm not elligible.

The announcing will be:
-MS has snatched the exclusive right of the games from Sony or great games will be announced:

-Final Fantasy XII
-MGS 4
-WOW
-Halo3
-GTA next

Reading your posts today, I realize you're high.

That said, since this is Euro-centric... even if they had something THAT big they would keep it at X05, not some random nebulous date between. They would want an announcement that huge with the press fucking surrounding it.

Here's the email they send out to your friends:

Subject: Help me discover the secret of Origen

TAKE AN EXCLUSIVE TRIP TO ORIGEN

Check this out. We have the chance to be among the first in the world to try out the new Xbox 360 at a top secret location. You just need to answer three questions and complete a tie-breaker to have a chance of winning. I've already had a go, and if you have a shot too then they let me enter again.

So get going. And don't mess up.

Click this link to enter now: http://www.origenxbox360.com/.

You have received this email solely to invite you to enter the Origen competition and to provide you with a link to the competition page should you wish to enter.

I'd rather get the games than a link, I don't really care if I get more visitors through this...

Meh, I don't like him.
I don't know, I never had any problem with him, we used to share some hands-on of some games around TXB long time ago and he looked like a cool guy (it was funny how he was getting more official media for his fansite than me writing for a mainstream magazine =P)

I was joking of course :) He's a very cool guy.

I was hoping he's react before anyone else replied. I'm disappointed in you, Mirrrique !
I was busy Blimming my Blam. :D

@Funky. We still get tons of media more purely by effort (You saw the 360 King Kong shots right?), but now it's not so special anymore with a certain French individual that's crimping my style every now and again. :lol

I have more work now, so I don't have as much time to actually play games, let alone share impressions.

But just for you; Serious Sam 2 ROCKS!!!!!!!

Once again nothing about real-life games for X-Box 360... another hope for this system brought to a screeching halt.

I really want this system since I loved X-Box, but I have seen nothing that makes me say "WOW" or "Holy Crap, I Need This System At Launch"

I pray that X05 will show off NBA2K6, Tiger Woods, and NBA Live actually being played and no DAMN cut-scenes... actual gameplay!

Fifa 360 will be there, no idea about the other games.
