What DRM does 2 have? I haven't installed it yet, but I'll hold off if it's some crazy DRM scheme.

He might mean DLC ridden, as the game had a bunch of unlock DLC which was lazily patched to be always available for the steam version. Booting up the game fresh and going to your first store, you will see a ton of equipment for really cheap or 0 in game currency, confusing new players and breaking the balance of the game. EA's never been in a hurry to fix that.

They give you a key to redeem in BFBC2 itself (it should be in the email).
