Tried it. I click on the yellow link, I get a pop-up that says "Coupon Activated - Click OK to continue", but nothing changes for me in the store. Any idea of what I'm doing wrong here? :s

Oh okay. I did get the lowered prices (like $16 for Amalur), but thought clicking the yellow button would get me an extra discount of $20 so that the games would be completely free.

it doesn't sound like you have the unique $20 promo code from the EA survey in hand (which is why you aren't getting stuff for free), but just in case you do - it seems like if you redeem the code then back out of the transaction it will count as "used" so be careful with redeeming the new survey $20 codes.
reeeeally tempted to get me3 and KOA:R for those prices, even at black friday sales i don't think i'll be able to get them that cheap. i'll probably break down and get mass effect 3 since it's at least not on steam and the code appears to not work on me3 even if someone did give me one *cough*cough*.

No I misunderstood the whole thing. Thought that you could browse to a "deals" page on Origin, add games to your basket to a total amount of $20, then apply a $20 discount through that yellow button.
But it seems the yellow button and the deals page are one and the same. And you do need the unique survey code indeed.

I'll give it a try but it wasn't working earlier either when I tried command and conquer 4 which was $20.
EDIT: Ok it worked. I added sim city societies to bring it to an even $20 and it worked. Maybe command and conquer didn't work before because it was 19.99. Wouldn't put it past EA.
But anyway yay I finally got Sims 3!

People keep buying them like crazy, EA would be stupid not to pump them out really. There has probably been a Sims expansion in the top 10 chart in Sweden every week since the first expansion for The Sims 2. I would almost be surprised if this wasn't true.
Yeah they have another one coming in november too going by wikipedia. I want most of them too but not for that crazy ass price. Maybe if they were $10 each I'd think about it.

Its like EA doesn't want my (free) money. No matter what I try, one game at 19.99 or multiple (shank and KoA) totaling 20.00 I get payment authorization failed. Checked with EA support and the code is still valid though.
