Can anyone here confirm whether or not they kept the password system in the Japanese version of Outrun 2 for Xbox? We can't find the password input screen, and the manual makes no mention of it. Was it taken out??

In the US version, I think you had to go to Outrun missions, then press X and select some option where you enter passwords. Did you try doing that?

When you go to mission and press Y to go to Options, you get:

Return to Game
General Settings
Controller Settings
Xbox Live

Should there be something else in there for password entry??

Ok, I just checked my Outrun 2 copy

Go to Outrun Challenge on the main menu

Then press X button (gallery)
Then choose 'enter codes'

Did they fix the slow down in the game when playing in a packed room on XBL? The slowdown was a huge letdown for me, but other then that it's a very nice game.

Got the game yesterday with KOTOR 2, finished the arcade game a few times and I love this game!

Best racer I have played this gen and it smokes Burnout 3 (which I have been playing up until a few days ago).

For some reason I think it’s one of best look games I have played, technically it’s not the best but I just fall in love with the style.

IAWTP - this is probably my favorite Xbox game, yes even more than Halo 2 or Fable It's just such a pure, unpretentious racing game... lately most racers seem to be either too realistic and tough for those who don't know much about cars (GT) or just too gaudy (NFS series), and the simple yet addictive arcade racer hasn't really been too popular. Music is catchy, classic SEGA, and the graphics are absolutely stunning! I haven't really seen anybody on LIVE playing this game though
