Going live in 15 minutes.

I don't miss 6v6, so I kind of hope it's not that, but they've been testing different iterations of it lately so it may be related.

Hopefully this is something fresh and actually good.

Update: Trailer

Must be some new fat character
Wasn't this their most recent character?

So many people are happy about loot boxes when it's all they were crying about years ago. They were even outlawed in some countries.

And people used to clown me for liking them.

I find the pronoun shit is as stupid as anyone else, but that was your main takeaway from the entire presentation?

Marvel Rivals lit a fire under their asses lol.
They're even adding 3rd person as an option in the stadium mode.

Anything meaningful or should I just stick with Marvel?
If you like OW2 in general, the new perk system might be worth checking out; it sounds like it will change up gameplay wuite a bit. They are also working on bringing back 6v6 as a full competitive mode. Loot boxes are back, new stadium mode with 3rd person option; looks like they are trying to stay relevant.

What I like about Overwatch is its formula. It's fun and simple, and it can change enough to keep things interesting depending on your character and team comps.

Perks can go either way for me. I'm not really a fan of them but will give it a chance.

Stadium mode looks wild. On paper, it's something I definitely wouldn't be interested in but I'm willing to give it a shot.

Looks like people will be streaming Stadium mode at 5PM EST.

Yeah ok I understand they but any just doesnt make any (lol) sense to me

Now they are just making stuff up
That's fair to say. I was always a fan of just the big three pronouns when addressing others. Anything further felt unnecessary because 'they' was meant as an all encompassing way to cover the rest, which is essentially window dressing.

Changes got me interested again with Overwatch. Perks is similar to Battleborn, adds some nice sense of progression in game. Though not sure in the long run how it can continue to vary the experience since its just a binary choice max 2 times per match. Stadium seems interesting, more things to experiment and customize the experience. Loot boxes will possibly hold my attention for a while.

Pretty sure this is a direct response to Rivals being extremely popular now (adding 3rd person mode made it more obvious). Competition always brings good things for consumers.

Kudos to them for reacting fairly quickly to Rivals, but Rivals is simply a better proposition right now, with established characters that comic book fans actually recognize and have previous affinity for.

Except Luna Snow - fuck her.

I started life as a boob dude. Then I grew into an ass man. But as I get older, I find myself more concerned on what the roof and skylight of the baby room looks like. Personally, kinda glad I skipped my foot fiend and thigh master phases.

Season 15 is live. Opened 6 normal lockboxes so far, just scraps.

I like the Apex style perks though. They're more fun than the ones in Apex.

Played a lot today. The perks are more fun and interesting than I thought, and the abilities seem well thought out.

If you swap characters mid-match, you earn perks way faster on the new character, so you're not stuck with your initial choice. That's really good because I often switch characters to adapt to situations.

Overall the perks system is nice so far. Played a scrim while waiting in queue, which didn't have perks, and it already felt like something was missing.

I'm not sold on those perks. It's makes it very unclear what heroes can and can't do. It's a mess. And the snowball effects it creates makes comebacks impossible in shorter game modes.

Shipping such an experimental feature right into competitive is incredibly reckless and stupid.
