Reading this thread (and many others) I feel like I'm the only person who finds every character balanced. It's one thing that I love about this game, no one character seems to dominate. Sure, I'll rage from time to time about someone, or think Bastion enters turret mode too fast, but there is always a counter. Be it a certain characters ability or the environment itself.

Aw, sad to see the anti-Roadhog sentiment... I think he's under-appreciated, but maybe it's just because he's the only character I really feel effective with. I appreciate that at the competitive level he might not be worth so much, but just playing on pubs he can be pretty valuable.

Dude, a team working together should need a coordinated team to beat them.

Maybe I didn't express myself correctly. Just expressed Bastion by himself is not an issue, but a whole team supporting makes it look like he is way stronger than he actually is.

I've come to the conclusion that Hanamura is a legitimately bad map. Choke points are just awful and make playing against a coordinated team impossible if you're in a PUG.

Ultimately I think the game's constant use of chokepoints is kind of bullshit.

Winston is pretty much my go-to 'actually need to win' hero. I've singlehandedly overturned objective points with him nearly every time I pick him. Dude is amazing.

Why are you on the edge about it? If its a game you think you'll enjoy then absolutely. It is so much fun despite how salty it makes me at times.

I think it's pretty balanced atm too, I wonder what they're going to do though because I can't imagine Blizzard will be happy with tournament teams only using a pool of 7-9 different characters. I think it'll get boring too quickly if the same very few characters are being used over and over. I wouldn't complain about changes just to keep it fresh.

This is the core of the game design. Build up ulti meter then make a play. Don't like that idea then you don't like this game.
