PES this year is so much better than fifa. Sadly fifa sells on name alone
Edit: below info is about Games sales only, not console hardware.
ANGI have released the yearly Nordic Game Sales report, lots of numbers, but no data on sales per game.
http://angi-nordic.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/Nordic-Game-Sales-2015.pdf
Interesting to note though, retail sales are starting to stabilize after several years of decline, only 8.6% decline from last year, compared to 26% for 2014.
The lions share of both revenue and volume at retail being Console, with PS4 accounting for about 42% of all revenue, and PC less than 10% (rest are different types of consoles)
Sweden's retail sales by volume for 2015 (2 915 308) has declined by almost half vs 2009 (5 619 613), but only by 2% vs 2014 (2 985 133)
Sweden's retail sales by revenue actually increased vs 2014 (by all of 0.6%).
Another interesting note, Dataspelsbranschen (Sweden) released a report on Digital Sales for 2013-2015, and in the console space alone Digital Sales increased by 47% vs 2014. This is a bit of a slow down vs the increase 2013 vs 2014 (97%), but in actual revenue the increase is steady.
So it seems, for now that retail might stop shrinking, or at least slow down, but digital is still growing, so the gaming market seems healthy still.
Addition: Total Swedish retail market was worth 115 million Euro in 2015, about 100 million Euros being from the Console retail market alone. Total Swedish digital console market was 39 million Euro. So total console market at about 139 million Euro, meaning about 28% of the revenue in Sweden, for consoles came from digital sales. Not too bad really.
Digital sales includes games and DLC, so this does not mean there's a 3 to 1 sales ratio between retail games and digital games in Sweden, but still a good indication of the ratio.
Edit3: The more I check the numbers, the more little things I find. Pretty eye opening that the full digital market games market is almost 3 times as big as the retail market. The PC digital market alone is bigger than the full retail market (by about 70 million Euro, more than half of the retail market). Digital mobile games market is as big as the console retail market at about 100 million Euro. Fucking insane, and eye opening really.
PES above Fifa in Germany is the real big news..
How so? It's a new release competing against a game that came out months ago...

Where's the PR, Greenberg?!?!
"Quantum Break hits #1 in Eurozone" or something like that. C'mon, you can do it!
Kooky ol' Uncle Aaron is up to his ol' tricks againWhere's the PR, Greenberg?!?!

I checked the sourced German article. They're talking about the console-specific charts for XBO, PS4 and WiiU.
That ridiculous like usual.

But that didn't happened, right? What Tim Dog tried here?
It did... On the specific XBox One charts in Germany. Not the multiformat one.
Its a Bank Holiday in UK today, I would think the chart could release tomorrow.
wow. i so wanted to see how much R&C dropped after the film release.
Just saw multiple Battleborn ads on BT Sport for 1st time.
Makes it look fucking awful. An incoherent mess with childish cartoon characters.
Don't expect it to do well unless reviews are exceptional.

You think the film will affect the Game's sales in a negative way?
The film basically didn't exist here. It was shown on one day in about 5 different cinemas throughout the country without a single advert. Most newspapers didn't even both reviewing it.
Any drop will have absolutely 0 to do with the movie, no matter how big or small.

It is a bit early but I have already collected the UK first week sales of Uncharted series.
[Week 49, 2007] UNCHARTED: DRAKE'S FORTUNE (SONY COMPUTER ENT.)
[Week 42, 2009] UNCHARTED 2: AMONG THIEVES (SONY COMPUTER ENT.) - 84,000 / NEW
[Week 44, 2011] UNCHARTED 3: DRAKE'S DECEPTION (SONY COMPUTER ENT.) - 115,000 / NEW
[Week 08, 2012] UNCHARTED: GOLDEN ABYSS (SONY COMPUTER ENT.) - 27,000 / NEW
[Week 41, 2015] UNCHARTED: THE NATHAN DRAKE COLLECTION (SONY COMPUTER ENT.) - 39,000 / NEW
[Week 19, 2016] UNCHARTED 4: A THIEF'S END (SONY COMPUTER ENT.)
If anything, maybe the film will get a few additional viewers because of the game. (I would totally buy it on PSN for a few bucks as an extra to the game eventually). But the film influencing the game's sales? In this state I'd say no.
I am really dissapointed in how much they screwed up the film though, I honestly can't believe it is that bad but I guess I will witness it eventually.
Still, the execs at Sony and Insomniac surely notice the game is doing well, so the future of this franchise is safe and looking very bright. The next entry will be a full story on it's own, without parts of a film slapped onto it, I am sure.
Why would they say that they are happy with the sales if they arent? This happen many times, people say that they are happy with sales, but dont give out hard numbers. I'm sure it has happen to indie games too.Any PR about how awesome the game has done without the hard numbers, dont make it awesome in my eyes. If the sales have not given you enough confidences to boast about the sales numbers then surely those sales are not upto your expectations and they are not awesome either.

My bet is that U4 will be >250k. I know that Amazon.co.uk is just a small portion of software sales, but U4 is in top 10 for more than a month. Now is at 1st place for almost a week and game isn't out yet.

Guys, come on. It's noobie. Arguing with him is like wrestling with a toilet - you're going to end up covered in crapWhy would they say that they are happy with the sales if they arent?
