PAL Charts - Week 19, 2016

Old games and niche titles yea the low numbers aren't surprising. Homefront was bomba the moment it was announced. No room for C-tier open world games.

I don't really think it being open world had anything to do with it. Just shittiness in general.

DOOM second week great hold is rare for its genre, now after 2 weeks its cumulative sales should be tied with Wolfenstein: The New Order with ~ 100,000 units, am I right Kyonashi?

Homefront: The Revolution is a huge bomb, the previous title sold around 170,000 units during its first 3 weeks.

PlayStation 4 top 10 UK best-selling 1st week titles:

[Week 47, 2015] PS4 STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT (ELECTRONIC ARTS) - 197,000 / NEW
[Week 19, 2016] PS4 UNCHARTED 4: A THIEF'S END (SONY COMPUTER ENT.) - 192,000 / NEW
[Week 37, 2014] PS4 DESTINY (ACTIVISION BLIZZARD) - 192,000 / NEW
[Week 22, 2014] PS4 WATCH DOGS (UBISOFT) - 190,000 / NEW

Note: These are approximate figures so a little margin of error is to be expected, positions for games that are only 1,000 or 2,000 units away from each other may be interchangeable.

I don't know the PS4 drop, but all platform combined:

Star Wars: Battlefront (-52%)
Destiny (-78%)
Watch Dogs (-81%)

23/May/2016
Sony take a second week at No1 with ‘Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’ (-78%).

That is correct. DOOM's Week 2 is a little bump above TNO's though.
