It'll be close, but it will sell more on PS4.
Haven't Activision been silent on sales so far. No day1 revenue type PR or anything from any region?
The UK games retail charts will not be available until this afternoon, MCV can reveal.
However, in an email sent to subscribers and obtained by MCV, GfK Chart-Trak says the figures have been delayed due to an issue with data supply from two major retailers.
Update: Chart-Track are now waiting on one retailer, and are confident they will get that information in an hour. UKIE says the figures should be available for the public 'within a few hours'.
Charts are late. Can only assume a retailer has been late kicking their data in and Activision AND UKIE will want the largest number possible for the benefit of good PR for both the COD brand and the value of the UK market.

That's some fine assuming
Has this ever happened before?
Fucking *insert of a UK retailer you hate* for late chart.
I'll start.
Fucking Argos with their RRP lover.
Well it's to do with fucking up the delivery of something, so I'll go with ShopTo.
Nah, 'fraid not. It's just that Slayven refuses to recognise Nottingham. He thinks it's a fictional place from the Narnia chronicles. So things I might have learnt today - SmokyDave is from the Isle of Man?

Yeah been some days now and they still didn't release their usual "COD sells $1 billion" PR.

Wait, what? Activision haven't released any PR about COD sales?
That can't be right, they always release PR.

That would be a first, since they never wait for full chart data, they always release something a day or two after COD launches.Probably waiting on the full chart data so they can pick which numbers to use for the PR.
Unless they were disappointing and no PR is incoming.

EDIT: Wait, shit, have they done PR for any region? I thought we were specifically talking UK/Europe and I've just realised I haven't heard from them about the US either. Maybe it is a disappointment.
Probably Argos, with the messed up voucher scheme and the website being down for a long period I reckon they had their hands full.
still no number?
when should we call it a day end?
http://www.mcvuk.com/news/read/call...sales-up-year-on-year-says-activision/0141138Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare sold more units in its first week than Call of Duty: Ghosts.
Thats according to Activision based on GfK Chart-Track figures and its internal digital figures. We are still awaiting the official report from the stat tracker to confirm the claim.
