They claim german hardware and software are from the November Gfk report. No idea where they got WW from.

The WW numbers are identical to what the Chartz claim, so that's almost certainly where that number came from.

Bland is a perfect word to describe Bioware output in last few years. I used to worship them and they had instant day one status in my heart but ME2/DA2/ME3 I'm not touching anything made by them until it hits PSN+

It is in bundles where it's needed most (the US). I do think there are some LBP bundles in the UK though!
Am I mistaken or is ps4 selling in Germany just as much as XB1 is selling in the UK. PS4 must be killing XB1 in Europe then.
Have a feeling Ps4 will easily hit 20+ million shipped by Dec. 31. Then the Chinese launch while not huge may help the Ps4 keep pace with Wii shipments for at least one more quarter before Wii takes off into the stratosphere.

I get what you want to say, but I don't think it's really black and white. Online was a mess at launch and led to some bad word of mouth, but now they're trying to salvage the situation after that it's been (mostly) fixed.
To be fair, that's not very far off BUT it's after MANY adjustments. When Sony announced 1m+ sold to consumers a few weeks ago that site had PS4 under 800k iirc and the owner didn't believe Sony were not reporting shipped but sold to consumers despite them almost spelling it out lol. So he adjusted PS4 up to 900k, leaving the 100k gap...
I think it was around 1.3m a few weeks back and since then it has had several high selling weeks and at least one where it sold ~120k so I'd say definitely 1.5m+

Yeah, that's definitely a fair point.
I won't stop worrying about DC's future until Sony commit to a sequel. Incredible new IP that came along just at the right time, to not give Evo a second chance would be criminal, especially with Studio Liverpool shuttered and Wipeout stuck in limbo...

Hard to say since we rarely get total numbers for Europe but they are the three biggest markets in Europe.

It's sad the WiiU Isnt doing better in the UK, a lot of great games released this year. The WiiU and 3DS have some of the best exclusives but the UK seems to not care about Nintendo anymore. At least they are doing much better in the rest of Europe especially France who loves Japanese games and jrpg's.

Don't know how long ago they made their 2014 forecast, but it seems a bit low for current gen now (maybe too high for last gen, but hard to tell).

Yes that's what it says, they also argue that it might exceed the Wii which sold 1.2 million from December 6th 2006 to December 31st 2007.

Wii managed 1.995.000 units from November 2006 to December 2007. (14 months)
PS4 was at 1.000.000 units at the begin of September 2014. (10 months)
But Wiis second full year was brutal, it sold 2.730.000 in 2008 (PS2 best year was 1.940.000).

err it's a forecasted total, and you would have to combine 3DS and 2DS for 300k

so nearly 7:1 (November figures) is the real sales gap between XBO and PS4 in Germany. XBOX Numbers were inflated at the start because Tier2 Neighbours bought theirs here.

Regarding imports - I don't think that they matter much. If you directly import via amazon it should get tracked, but if e.g. MediaMarkt shifts german XB1s to a MM in another country, those consoles should not be included in the GFK consumer panel.
