PC gamepass $1 for 3 months

Got to get them numbers up! I'll resubscribe for that. Took a few months off because nothing was grabbing me.

Edit: doesn't look like it works for lapsed subscribers?

You become eligible again every once in a while, I don't know how long, could be a year.

If you just want to abuse the system, you can simply make another account, they don't check for anything, all that needs to be different is the email. On PC I think this means you don't carry any progression like saves or gamescore on Xbox I don't know how it works.

Same here. Was 3 months for 1$ last year with halo and Forza and when I was done I stopped. But I went back to this again.

Can someone tell me.thw trick of the game pass for cheap thing with Xbox gold or whatever that trick was ?

A tutorial on how it's done would be great
 
My Game Pass Ultimate expired yesterday and I was able to grab this offer through the PC Xbox App today. I've just been playing through and 100%'ing the Yakuza games again on PC anyway, so thanks MS.

My sub ran out in April, and I wasn't going to sign up until December for a full month of Starfield, not much else to entice me.

Step 1 - Do not have an active Gamepass sub
Step 2 - Load your XBL Gold sub up with as much time as possible, the max is 3 years, so if you have any time left on your current sub you can't redeem 3 full year cards/codes, keep that in mind
Step 3 - On your account with ~3 years of XBLG saved up, upgrade to Gamepass Ultimate. You'll pay for ONE month of it ($15) and your entire ~3 years gets updated

That's it, you don't need a deal like this for that.

Potentially stupid question, but does buying this gamepass also give you gamepass on xbox? I did the 1 dollar for three years trick three years ago, and my normal gamepass/live ran out today.

Also, can I get three years of live and then do this one dollar deal again?

Nah this is specifically for the PC Gamepass.
You'd need the Gamepass Ultimate to get PC, Console and Cloud.
 
Well was going to hop on this, but my Xbox App on PC is just a black screen that cannot be closed without the use of Task Manager. Why does Microsoft have such a hard time making Windows software? It boggles the mind.
 
Just incase someone doesn't know. Always turn off auto renewel, take a break from gamepass once it expires and you'll eventually get this deal again.

Probably why promos like this keep happening, it's a truly garbage experience on PC. They should just put it on Steam like EA did.

edit: The new EA App that you got to use with Gamepass is somehow even worse, it's unbelievable. There is just no way to justify paying this every month on PC with storefronts that are so fucked up. I'm not even hating, come on, why are the new stores worse than the old ones? Ironically the Epic store works well for me, despite being bare bones.

If I get a xbox eventually does my pc gamepass sub also work on console? I assume it's connected to the microsoft account? If true my console buying option just got a lot more complicated. PSVR2 or gamepass machine. hmm

Yeah I did that once before and got one month for £1, but three months is ridiculous.

Lots of people will do that, they must be bleeding loads of cash on this.

I can't believe it keeps working. like 9 months out of the year I have gamepass ultimate for less than a Cheesy Gordita Crunch.

No because judging by the recurring cost of $9.99 it's not GPU but just GP for PC. The recurring cost is a rip off btw.

I think the XLG to GPU trick still works but you need to stack XLG.

No, this is specifically game pass for PC.

The only way to get both console and PC is getting Game Pass Ultimate.

That's where the Gold to GPU conversion comes in, and gives you the cheapest rate for any Game Pass plan annually.

You can do the trick again, but instead of paying $1, you will pay $15 (equivalent of 1 months GPU price) to get the same conversion done.

But, to your question, yes you can do the trick again.

Nah, they just likely have fuck all happening these months and $9.99 per month thereafter is kind of high in all honesty. Especially for their PC offerings.

Same. Cancelled mine back when I sold my Series S. Didn't want to buy Gamepass just for Forza Horizon 5 so outright bought the game on PC.
Might just sub again for StarField.

I googled it when you made the initial post. Only saw that you can win an xbox series s when you buy doughnuts. I thought there was an actual deal for gamepass with doughnuts. Sorry if it was a joke that flew over my head.

I always take advantage of this. Play the fuck out of games on it. Then wait for the next deal. I think I've spent $2 on GamePass for 6 months of access within the last year.
 
People weren't joking about the Xbox App being shit.
Tried downloading Sniper Elite 5 and it keeps getting stuck on 50%. Tried redownloading it and resetting the Windows Store, nothing helped lol.

At least it was just 1 euro, still kinda sicks though.
