PC Gamer Show 2024 - live now

Screenbound looking really cool as a concept with that mix of 2D and 3D puzzle solving. The question is whether it gets fully fleshed out like Fez, or is a disappointing one trick pony like Superliminal was.

And whatever this is, looks like straight up Spirited Away clone cutscenes lol. I'm sure it's yet another cozy farm/building sim though.

Edit: Last Category, the rest are on the first page of the thread...

RPG/Puzzle

Lorn Vale (free-roaming top-down apocalyptic RPG where 'interaction carries weight')

Last Moon (Top-down Zelda-like with co-op)

Blue Prince (Detective Puzzle game)

Lok Digital (Word Puzzle game)

Rise of the Golden Idol (Detective game, looks like a moving painting)

Island of Winds (3rd person adventure game feat. puzzle/stealth with wind powers)

Extra:

G.I. Joe Wrath of Cobra (Beat em up)

Aloft (First person action adventure survival with flight and floating isles)

Moon Mystery (First person game...?)

No trailer posted.

whoops, been to busy devouring post xbox press and I missed... fuck all over here, as every prior year it seems.

The demo is fun.

It's be the dude that made Gunpoint, if you know what that is.

Gunpoint was so good. Feels like we've been waiting for Tactical Breach Wizards forever so it's nice to have a demo. Tom's really improved his presentation with this game so its' no wonder this game has taken so long.

I like the hosts of this show. I think they do a good job with the material they are presented. That said, the content was the worst yet. These shows are always very much a mixed bag but this was really lame. Nearly every game looked like a mobile game. Whole show felt like a waste of time. I will be surprised if they even do this again next year.

After posting all of the trailers here, I'd give this about a C-.

Lower than SGF, and that's mainly due to show pacing, which SGF suffers from too. PC gaming show stacked too many survival/crafting/building games back to back which made most of the show seem almost entirely focused on that genre.

There were other genres but they were shoved into small blocks of time, never to be seen again, only to be met with more survival/crafting stuff afterwards. Guerilla Collective really stole the good content this year.
