I've been using my PSX to USB adapter from Radio Shack for over a year now with no problems. However, last night, it apparently just spontaneously became unrecognized by my PC. I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting it, the entire hub that it's connected to, as well as the controller. Nothing works, and when I reconnect the hub, it just says the device is unrecognized. Even when there were no drivers installed for anything, WinXP had the necessary drivers to at least recognize it as a game controller. Reinstalling the proprietary drivers that enabled vibration didn't work either. Anyone know any more potential solutions?

Dammit, I tried swapping around devices in the USB hub, and it was working for a moment, but when I plugged something into the port that it was formerly in, it stopped working, and it didn't work when I tried switching things back again.

This bloody sucks. I'm so used to flying with the gamepad in BF1942 and other games, so now I'm essentially unable to do so. I'm not really sure if it's the hardware, or if some drivers spontaneously disappeared last night. The drivers that came with the thing are useless, as Windows wants a .inf file if I'm going to try reinstalling the hardware via add hardware. I guess my only option short of reinstalling Windows which is a bitch is to buy a new PC gamepad.
