Ok my soundcard is an 'Advance AC97'.

Basically I want to record a Radio show (thats played through RealOne Player) off of the internet directly or as good quality as possible.

Im thinking since these pieces of sound data go through my soundcard (I hope) surely I can capture them so I can play them again at my own will (say as wavs etc.).

I have a webcam (Logitech Zoom thing) that sort of doubles a a microphone that produces crap quality recordings, and ive tried capturing through:

EasyRecorder
ARWizard 3
Audio MP3 Sound Recorder

Is there any way I can do what I want? If not is there a best way to optimise recording?

Help me GAF.

uh...you can record directly from your soundcard...but it depends on your soundcard and the software for it.

if you are using the soundcard that is apart of your motherboard, it should just be that you go to the lil speaker in ur taskbar...open it up
then seelct options

select recording and enable all the recording options
then make sure its recording from "wave" or whatever by selecting wave.

then record onto something like cool edit or whatever.

then save it as a wav. (44.1khz, 16 bit, stereo)

then you can then convert that into a mp3 and delete the wav to free up space.

peace
