Persona 3 Reload coming to Switch 2 on October 23, 2025

Great game, just finished it a few weeks ago and had never had the ending spoiled.

I swear, the time between today and the game's release feels shorter than the duration of the actual game.
I'm still wondering if anything remotely interesting happens after the 30 hours I wasted on this absolute slog before dropping it.

I loved P4 and liked P5 (both vanilla). Is this good? How does the remake compare to the original (which I own on PS2 and played about a dozen hours of)?

Haven't finished the new remake, but from what I've played it's essentially P3 with the P5 graphics style.

The gameplay is enhanced with some new mechanics and scenes, but it also retains the combat difficulty and feeling of the original. I got wiped a few times playing it on hard.

Disagree with this. They got rid of the fatigue mechanic, introduced new combat skills and new ways to replenish SP.

As well as combat being easier they also took out social links being able to reverse/break, so in a lot of ways it's far easier than the original.

Obviously you can still get Megaten'd (instant death by Hama/Mudo).

It's easier than the original or portable or fes, but yes if you're not paying attention you can still get wiped

It's been so long since I played the original, I forgot about those mechanics.

There is never a downside to waiting for Atlus games, they will always release to as many platforms as possible and drop price soon after release. Not supporting this game key card shit though.
