I'm not sure this makes a huge amount of sense but whatever. P5X is, as of now, a China only Gacha game - so I'm not sure what market this would have been stealing. Then again, if it was designed for mobile that's tanked my interest in it.

It's normal for some of these gachas to have a Japan/China soft launch followed by the worldwide release later on. I expect the same with P5X.
