I'm sure King Kong is still on schedule (the end of the QT movie shows it scheduled for December 2005). I suppose this is all an elaborate hox, but if not it wouldn't matter to me. Seeing the son of King Kong fighting in WWII against the Nazis and Nazi developed mutated monsters would be kind of cool ;-) Weirder things have been filmed for sure

Yes, they finish filming Kong: The 8th Wonder of the World in about two weeks. Release date is currently December 21st, but it may be pushed up a week.
