Joey Salads? Hes made multiple videos reacting on his videos and making fun of him. h3h3 is probably one of the best youtube channels out there.
They have done a great job with copyright and false video flagging on youtube, and helping out youtubers to sort out video take-down strikes.

Has anyone mentioned drdisrespect's rants about this, where he defended PDP? I only started watching him a couple of weeks ago and only sparingly, but I'm done with that.
 
Sounds like Ethan is condemning Felix for what he said, and Hila is talking about how she just learned the severity of the word recently after Bill Maher said it on air, but now she gets it and knows to never use it.
 
In general I am tired of seeing gamers using racial slurs and cursing so freely. It adds nothing to the topic, just garbage filler words, and in my mind dumbs down their opinion. Frankly I would like to see a crackdown on behavior like he showed and constant foul language in general.

You either care about what your ridiculous amount of viewers feel when you use that word, or you don't. Pewdiepie clearly doesn't.
If the money he is raking in from subscribers overrides the feeling of shame he should feel from failing as a broadcaster then he not only is false in his apology but is also inviting governance which will potentially hamper future, more talented broadcasters, that could take his place.

The only acceptable apology is to quit.

Like I've said before I cannot see an apology as sincere if he feels the need to say " If I offended someone..." It is pretty clear that he offended a ton of people so in my book it makes him seem insincere

Maybe it is just me, but I've heard too many people that have no remorse "apologize" along those lines.

Because it has been normalized in society in a certain way so it is more acceptable to hear people say it. There is also the whole identity/race thing that doesn't come across in an anonymous setting, so in the end, it becomes a lot worse.

There is also no way to filter the words out b y voice recognition and the reporting parts of many games never get anything done because people just use them to troll.

It's a lot more complicated than people saying racial slurs on voice chat. In PewDiePies case he is a moron because he is in a very public setting and he knows this. That slip is more than that. Maybe he normalized the word into his everyday online life.

On the bright side, they called up a guy who went ahead and said the "is it only white people upset?" rationalization is bullshit and just a way of downplaying the incident. Also said people who think "it's just a word, don't give it power" are fuckin stupid.

No matter what you think of the word he used, don't fail to see the difference between it being spoken by a white person as opposed to a black person.
