Phantom Dust End-Boss Help

The title says it all, so don't go complaining about spoilers.

I'm having a crazy tough time with the final boss of the game. I can beat the 3-form Demented Freia consistently enough, except by the time she's beat I have no more skills left and thus my power is constantly dwindling. So I have about 10 seconds to beat the final final boss, and she just lands one blow on me and I'm dead.

What did you use in your arsenal?

So far I've been pretty much relying exclusively on psycho-sniper since that does the most damage in one shot. But I only have one of them.

Ki/Psycho aresenal. Psycho spears, hyper ki lances, ki lances, tiger's strength buff, debris bullet, ect.

I was able to take out the lower tiers of the three-form freia with one hit with tigers strength boosted psycho spears. I used the third spear on the top then finished it with debris bullets.

I only wound up using one Hyper Ki Lance on the final form, since it pretty much died easiest for me simply by spamming tigers strength boosted debris bullets.

I have a few of those debris bullet skills, I though they'd be like Power though, and you'd need a chair or something, so that's why I didn't use it.

I'll try that out, thanks. And then I'll kick your ass online ;)

Psycho Sniper is your friend.

Get 3 Psycho Sniper, 3 Healing Waters, 3 other medium-long high damage skill, 3 defense skills and the rest with auras.

The first form has 3 different attacks. Don't keep running while the attacks occur. When she starts, run to get an initial arsenal in place to be able to attack and block. Then target the area she'll use to attack. If it's the bottom area, the moment it opens up, shoot it, and prepare to block because you won't be able to evade its attack. The middle attack is easy, just shoot the moment it opens up and move away from it (don't just keep running though.) The top attack is the lasers, which are easily avoidable. Just attack the instant it opens up, then run until the attack is over.

The key to the battle is getting a good arsenal and moving only as much as you need. No need to mindlessly running up and wasting the skills.

Once you get to the top, well, it's a matter of blocking her attacks and attacking when you have a chance.

Debris Bullets are just a random strength multiplier parabola skill. They don't use actual debris. I just dig 'em because the 4 damage attack pops often for very low Aura consumption, and that works well with Tigers Strength. Also, they have very decent homing.

They work really nicely in the context of the final form as well, as they keep her pretty much her shut down the entire time.

I only used one medium range attack (Blaster I think) for all of Friea's forms. As long as you get a good medim/long range attack fairly early on running up the staircase you shouldn't be running out of skills.

Ok, now I'm psyched to go home and beat it*. Damn, shoulda made this topic closer to the end of my work day.

*the game I mean

The biggest pain about the end boss trio is that it's a lot easier to approach the doppelganger/Freia/Edgar portion with a short range aresenal, but the design of the other two parts completely prevents you from doing so. =/

It took me around 30 tries to clear the three-form Freia with my short focused arsenel, which luckily had a few mid rangers in there (debris bullet, two psycho spears), however, no matter how perfect I played I was always screwed afterwards. Once I struggled past the doppelganger/Freia/Edgar fight, I cleared it on the first try with the other arsenal.

The last boss isn't shit, the problem is the whole "beat it before you run out of skills and your health slowly drains" part. I made it to the FINAL part with only 1 skill in my arsenal, once I achieved that, the rest was cakewalk.

I used a Psychic / Nature arsenal the entire time, never changed/swapped around unless the mission required me to.

Finally beat it! Actually, I beat it on my first try and it was quite easy. Thanks for the help yo, the Heat and Stimulate definitely helped out a lot. I still don't really know what the hell the story was about exactly, but I still really enjoyed it a lot. I'm a sucker for post-apocolyptic cyberpunk settings and this game has the atmosphere in spades.
