?? Quite the opposite. I come from a small town in Mississippi, that is very conservative. I was never exposed to much “variation” (for the lack of a better word) in people. I had similar thoughts as you at one point in my life. All I can say is what you think you know is wrong. I now travel the US and have met many different people. I have come to learn that different places have different societal standards, and what color someone hair is doesn’t tell you dick about what type of person they are inside.
Challenge yourself to not do what so many sheltered individuals do, which is to go with your “first thought”. Often, our first thoughts are pretty off base, and many times just awful.

The only people who should argue against unions are business owners. Unionized workers make more money, get better benefits, more vacation. I get why business owners argue against it but, if you work for someone else and argue against it, serious low iq problems... A person who does that is very highly "regarded"....

These big acquisitions are almost NEVER wanted by employees. Things almost unanimously change for the worse. People end up getting laid off. Benefits get cut. More layers of middle management BS to deal with, all sorts of ESG nonsense as well. Imagine Phil, after failing spectacularly for Xbox for decades, decides to acquire your company....how confident would you feel about that?
