Phoenix Wright is a unique game that capitalizes on the DS touch screen and its microphone functionality wonderfully. Depending on your murder-mystery skills, you might find the occasional puzzle too difficult, or you might find the occasional puzzle offers you too much help. But despite being a little linear at times, it's completely satisfying. You'll get a kick out of uncovering clues, revealing different aspects of the characters' personalities, and ultimately solving each case. If Phoenix Wright starts any kind of trend, those fearing the demise of the adventure genre need not worry any longer. Adventure games are back and are hipper than ever. And they have Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney to thank for it.

I should have my US copy tomorrow or the day after. I've already played through the game, but I may play through it again when this version arrives.
 
stores in quebec aren't allowed to put this on the shelf because it doesn't have a french description on the back of the box. Only those that pre-order it at EB will get it, and this on the 18th, no sooner.

p.s. I've been playing Ace Attorney on and off since I got it a month ago. That game fucking owns.

Cool. Sounds fun, but something is holding me back from buying. I'm just worried this game won't be my thing... does anyone rent DS games? heh.
 
I love the new gamespot layout. Even though it took 4 trys to get the actual review text to load on the page.

Yeah, their webpage server is slow as shit right now, their download server is fine though. Hopefully they fix it soon.

Just Checkin Nintendo Australia and it says its coming out or came out September, 2005 Pfff Yeah Right... Another Source Says Next Year... Looks Like an Import for Me
 
Are the graphics really as good as Carrie says they are in her review? In the screenshots and vids, the drawing style used for the characters looks fairly crude.

The art is hot. DS's relatively low res screen makes you miss some of the detail but even with that said it's really good. Check out Capcom's JP site for higher res art (it looks like the same assets used in the game actually)

On a related Note, there is a slight Chance that one of my Ancestors may haved signed that Document -- one Jonathan Dayton.

Sadly, I've no way to prove It.

Let me see if this Explaination helps any. Do you See what I'm doing? If you don't understand the Joke, you might want to brush up a bit on your US History. In either Case, Kobun's Remark is one of the funniest Observations I've ever seen on this Forum.

I'm related to the guy who invented the sandwich. our line is the offspring of one of his hoes I believe. Sadly due to illigitimacy (sp, is that even a word?) I can't make my millions suing subway for using the word "sandwich"
 
"Value: 8"? Could someone explain/defend this? I thought the game would be pretty much pointless when you've solved all the cases? Are there a lot of cases to solve then?
