Does this game use the T&T Objection! theme? I really loved the original Objection! 2001 theme but the T&T version seems to have been adopted as the official song. Overall I really liked the music in Dual Destinies and am expecting it to be just as good here, but man do I miss the 2001 Objection! theme.
Cheers. As expected, although it's a good arrangement.

Thanks, that provides some context! I loved the soundtrack work in AA5 and so will expect a similar quality for AA6.you were already answered but I thought it was worth noting: Noriyuki Iwadare, the composer of Trials and Tribulations, has now become sort of "the" Ace Attorney composer since Investigations, doing that and its sequel as well as AA5 and AA6. So from that angle it definitely makes sense that he'd be returning to his own work.
One thing I'm a little irritated by is that they got rid of the ability to skip through the text. Dual Destinies added the option to hold B to advance text, even if it was new, and this game doesn't appear to have it. Not a huge issue, just slightly annoying. The game has me invested enough so far though. A lot more things being done with the 3D models than Dual Destinies.
How much longer till NA?
Layton vs. Wright is great. I think a lot of AA fans didn't realize that they'd be getting a Layton storyline with it. As a fan of both series I was very satisfied. Could've had some harder puzzles though.
But yeah, still holding out hope for Dai Gyakuten Saiban, that one I was more hyped for. It's not too late Capcom!
I'm a big fan of both series but I still thought the game was just "okay".Layton vs. Wright is great. I think a lot of AA fans didn't realize that they'd be getting a Layton storyline with it. As a fan of both series I was very satisfied. Could've had some harder puzzles though.
I think so.I just want to know that the game pulls off the old-school AA trick of making everything meaningful by the end - pulling 4/5 different stories into one larger one. Dual Destinies failed utterly at doing this in an interesting way.
Reading the impressions in the OP, I'm not hopeful. That said, I did enjoy my time with DD anyway so I'll probably bite.
As a Layton fan for puzzle reasons and not at all story reasons, I was annoyed that I had to suffer through a Layton story with puzzles-in-name-only. The first puzzle in Curious Village is harder than like the first ten or so in VS.Layton vs. Wright is great. Wish I had your optimism. We're never getting AAI2 or DGS ever.
3-3 is probably the worst part of T&T. None of it really gels together very well. One second you're in a french restaurant, the next you're in tron world, and then mafia/yakuza lol gets crammed into the last day and suffocates the case even further. There's not even any good payoff on that end since Viola barely has any presence in the case and I don't think even shows up in court, and Tigre's tough guy sleazeball act flops like a dead fish once you get into the courtroom.
what if spirit of justice sells 10 million copies though. what if ;_;
Seriously though, I'll be ok if it doesn't happen, I don't really think it will. But as long as the 3DS is alive I won't stop bothering Capcom about DGS. They could still get it localized in time.

Do these download automatically with the game?To people who are on the fence about this game...
The Costume DLC is only free for the first week
So this game has just about every gameplay mechanic in the main series to date right?
Those plus the new seance stuff which looked really fun in the demo.
- Psyche locks
- Apollo's ring
- Mood matrix
bleh- Forensics
Hope the game isn't stretched too thin as a result.

Yeah found it in the costumes & DLC menu. SickIf it's like Dual Destinies, there's an option allowing you to "buy" the DLC, which should be free.

In hindsight, I agree with this, the case is not very well put together and doesn't really pay off after the interesting catch. That said, it's so much more entertaining than Turnabout Big Top that I feel like we're not giving it its due credit when we compare the two cases. Nothing in the series compares to how bad Turnabout Big Top is, NOTHING, and I don't even think JfA is a bad game like most of the fanbase do.
