Looks like some sort of third person shooter that takes place during Christmas in the city. People contract a virus, turn into zombies, and you have to blast your way through the hordes. Sounds serious, but it apparently has a lot of laughs. There's even a zombie Santa Claus :lol

Pictures are available. Though certainly not at this fine, upstanding forum ;)
 
wow, looks hot, and its from planet moon. if i wasnt sold on a psp before, i think i am now :)
 
If the screenshot is real, it is pretty impressive. Roughly two blocks' clear draw distance in an urban environment (after which point the fog begins and things slowly haze out)....15-16 characters onscreen with all of them casting shadows (!!!!). The more I think about it the more I worry that it's just a wishful mock-up.

the environemnet has very little polys though... hell, some of the distant buildings are only rendering the front with no sides

and as for the pics, there is only 1 (afaik)
 
It's one shot labelled "work in progress" which could mean anything. Some aspects certainly look doctored to me but there is nothing in the shot which the PSP is incapable of rendering in-game.

I'm surprised to see Majesco as the publisher.

majesco has made what seems to be (so far) some good aquisitions of titles lately...

It was either that or portable only, I dont recall. Which is odd.. I would think PC only would be their best move since all their hits (well, the one :lol ) was a PC game.

I'm not so sure about their games' sales figures, but I greatly enjoyed the XBox version of A&D and the DC version of MDK2

they may or may not have been hits, but they were great games. Hopefully, concentrating on just portables (and PCs?) will allow them to spend more time creating their unique games.
 
Thats cool, concentrating on only one platform is certain to give them an advantage and their licensing of any kickass engine they build first is certainly on their minds I'm sure.

Infected is reason alone to buy a PSP! I hope they get game sales on the PSP where they have been lacking on Xbox and PC. Damn shame too Giants + Armed and Dangerous are great games.
 
Nevermind found it. What I dont understand is why dont the enemy models have faces they just had dent plainular hints of faces. That really ruins it for me graphially it maybe nit picking but this is the psp where talking about here.

Looks awesome. I just hope the end result is close to this "semibelievable work-in-progress" shot in terms of visuals.

And of course I hope the gameplay is good. I haven't played Armed and Dangerous, though. Is it any good?
 
i like the humour of planet moon games, but the actual gameplay is sorta bland.. hopefully they can mix it up a bit
 
Well, its nice to finally see something for this game, but I really wish it was more than what looks like a mockup more than anything else, after all this time. I guess it gives a hint of what to expect from gameplay, but I hope its further along than this suggests.
 
Not sure why anyone would be skeptical that this is a mockup. The graphics on display in that capture are easily achievable on the PSP, which, if not more than, is as powerful as the PS2. The game doesn't look all that impressive, to be honest.
 
I though A&D was a good game. It definitely wasn't up to the previous Planet Moon standards. I absolutely loved Giants, so I was a bit let down by A&D. I hope they can recapture some of the magic on the PSP.

I'm still undecided between PSP and DS, but I'm leaning towards PSP. These are the types of games I want to play.
 
New pictures have been posted. Reminds me a lot of House of the Dead 2.

There will be deathmatch and team deathmatch multiplayer wireless modes.

it definitely has the classic sega 3d lightgun target cursors, doesnt it?

and i agree with a previous poster. giants >>>>>>>>>>>> A&D. A&D was just average sadly
