Lame. Well I will email Nintendo about it. Curious to see what uninformative answer they give me this time.
There really is no point in asking customer support why their global president in Japan didn't interview his general manager about a game.

With the MK8 deal happening, I was thinking of getting this game over The Wonderful 101. Just a question though, is this game beginner friendly? I haven't played a Pikmin game before and I feel quite intimidated with what I've seen.
Sounds goodThey do a good making you understand the game slowly and by example so you'll understand how to play it pretty well by the time you get to the tougher missions.
Sounds good
Hopefully I'll get into it
When I got the game back at launch I did not have the time to give it the attention it deserved. So I finally got round to playing it, what a brilliant game this is. I'm on Day 9, I haven't found Captain Charlie yet :/
I just spend too much time gawping at the scenery.
Is there a way to tell if your other groups are under attack while you're managing a different group before your Pikmins start dying?
Usually it's too late then though from what I've experienced. There should be some kind of danger ahead warning rather than warning only when they're being attacked and already scattered around. You also can't tell if there's enemies around just by looking at the map, right?

Just got to the first boss. Pretty fun game so far. My only complaint so far is the time limit since I like exploring.
So the general consensus is Gamepad with stylus is better to play on the Gamepad, and Wiimote + Nunchuck is better for the big screen ?
You know that you don't have to return to the ship at the end of each day, right? As long as all Pikmin are under control of a captain, they are safe. At dawn, there is a counter that shows the number of endangered Pikmin.
Enjoying this magnificent game, decided to take a look at OT (I'm trying to avoid any spoilers etc) and...
Mind=Blown!
I was loving this game... until the golden blob thing. Fuck that, it's really killing my love of this game. I want this level to be over with NOW!x
EDIT: ....aaaannnnnddd fuck this boss. Seriously cannot beat this level soon enough.
FAKE EDIT 2: THIS IS THE LAST PART OF THE GAME? WTF PIKMIN 3?!?!?!
Try the missions.
Huh? The exploration, battling, time management perhaps.I just started those too, after being pretty bewildered that that was actually the last mission. Don't get me wrong, the game was a lot of fun, but I really didn't think that was the end. I didn't gather up all the fruit since I didn't see much of a point, but I could go back and do that or keep going with the missions. It looks like there's a ton of them! (or do you have to buy most of the locked ones?)

Definitely Wii Remote + Nunchuk. So, I just picked this up. Long time Pikmin fan. Cool that there are multiple control schemes. Which one is the best?
