I seem to always be walking by the tv when Pinks is on Speed Channel. It's one of those things that is really not that interesting, but I will still sit down and watch back to back episodes, heh.

The concept trips me out because these guys are just street racers, but they have entire pit crews and customized trailers and stuff. Who in the hell makes "hanging out while this other guy races his car" in their hobby?

:lol Yeah, it amuses me seeing these entourages of like 30 people on each side. The cars don't even have co-drivers for fuck's sake.

For a reality show it's about as good as it gets, since it's real shit based on an age-old concept. But it's still not anything I'll tune in to watch.

Not every street racer is the same as the kid you see running around in mommy's Camry.

Grooming a car for drag can be very involved. It usually takes more than one person to do a complete build-up of a car. If you had your hand in it, why wouldn't you go? The performance place where I take my car closes up shop completely when there's a particularly important event. The whole team travels together.

Also, the cars that I saw on the last ep didn't exactly look street legal, so definitely they are going to have to be trailered in.

That's all fine and well, but if you're in my entourage and alls you did was pick out the wheels or tighten a bolt or two, stand back there and shut the fuck up. There's always 15 dudes all AWWWWW SHIT HE JUMPED WHY YOU SANDBAGGIN and all this other shit, and they're just there for the purpose of being on tv.

Besides, if you're going to work on my car, you should be over there working on it while I negotiate, not acting like that "put em in a bodybag!" guy on Karate Kid, heh.

Haha. But combine the fact that 1) it's on TV and 2) the car is on the line and you have an important enough event to warrant letting a few friends tag along.

I like the premise of the show, but the execution is so fucking cheesy. Come on, they had that scrawny bald dude walking towards the camera rocking a wifebeater like he was Vin Diesel... :lol

btw bjork I saw a homeless dude who looked JUST like your aviatar in NYC and it reminded me of you..and for that I really was tempted to give him a dollar, but didn't :(

:lol Yeah, that's what I find amusing.
