Coming to Pizza Hut on Monday, May 12th are three new BBQ Pizzas. The BBQ Pizzas are topped with Honey BBQ sauce and feature Hand-Tossed crust with a toasted cheddar edge.

The BBQ Pizza choices:

Blake’s Smokehouse BBQ: With a southern twist and Blake’s inspiration, this pie features hardwood smoked bacon, smoked ham flavored with a hint of sugar and juicy pork.

Hawaiian BBQ: Featuring a tropical island favorite with a BBQ infused taste, this pizza provides smoked ham flavored with a hint of sugar, pieces of sweet pineapple and crisp green peppers.

Honey BBQ Chicken: A classic BBQ combination, this pizza is topped with tender, all-white meat chicken, hardwood smoked bacon and sweet red onions.

I'm pretty diverse when it comes to my fast food, but BBQ and Pizza are two things I never want to mix. At least not replacing the sauce.

Pineapple on pizza is just wrong man.

I'm surprised they didn't already have that Honey BBQ pizza. Did Pizza Hut not use BBQ sauce before? I think every other pizza joint ever has it these days.

When I went to the US, I got a dominos delivered to our motel room (we were tired, and we'd just arrived in the city). I found it really odd that the menu was so "number-of-toppings" dominated when it came to price. It seemed like the price jumped massively when you went from 1 topping to 3 toppings.

Is that just a dominos thing, or is that how a lot of take-out pizza places are in the US?

That Honey BBQ Chicken pizza sounds superb. Other two sound good as well, but I particularly like the sound of that one.

I don't know about jumping massively; but yes, most pizza places here charge per-topping unless you're getting a specialty pizza or using some kind of coupon.

Now you know why Americans overwhelming eat plain pepperoni pizza.

Tastes good to me.....

Probably not too comparable, but the BBQ sauce in Domino's pizza tended to be too sweet and overpowering.

Blackened and grilled chicken, pepperoni, bacon, three kinds of cheese and a BBQ sauce.

So damn good.

I love pizza but I've never been a fan of BBQ pizzas.

I'm really not a fan of BBQ Pizza. I've tried it many times because some of my friends do but just...I can't handle that much BBQ sauce. Way too much for me.

I don't eat Pizza Hut much but last time I went in with the GF I got this awesome meat pizza with a sticky BBQ sauce drizzled all over the top. Was heaven.

Exact same pizza that is my favorite. God damn I want some now.

Well, I do have a $10 off a $20+ order code/coupon from doing their survey. Buying two, decent to good tasting, large pizzas with any toppings for price that's less than a single large one topping pizzas at the few other places in my area that don't even have better pizza in the first place is nice. Even with their raising the "Any Pizza" deal to $11 it's still a damn good deal. At one point it stacked with the $9 any pizza code they had so I was getting two large pizza with a lot of toppings for $4 each.

That said, I can only do it once every three or four weeks because after eating two, even if they're different pizzas I kinda sorta get sick of three days of pizza. But I have been experimenting a bit more lately. I might try it next time.

Hawaiian BBQ sounds divine. BBQ in general is the way to go - pizza purists are missing out.

Man, when I was in Beijing they had some crazy pizza - like, fruit salad pizza, bananas and cheese pizza, seafood pizza, that sort of thing. Vastly prefer them to the standard "cheese and sauce" stuff. Minds were opened.

When they came out with their BBQ pizza in the 90's, I liked that one a lot. The sauce was really minimal on it. I tried searching for a Pizza Hut menu history or timeline but wasn't getting anything that had this on it; I think it came out around when The Big New Yorker came out (I remember that because they would always say we couldn't get BBQ New Yorkers). Anyway, that BBQ pizza was pretty good. But Pizza Hut isn't really the same as it was in the 90's, so I don't know if these would be as good or not.
