Just went there over Xmas with my girlfriend--
The highlights:
The North End (Italian part of town):
In the north end, you will eat, and eat, then eat some more.
Mike's Pastry
Best. Pastry. Ever. (yes, I'm serious)
Bella Vista (Italian food)

Other than that, I would definitely check out a Red Sox game. Fenway Park is pretty neat by itself, but I can't even imagine what game day must be like

This place has a kickass beer selection, like 13 pages worth. The food is pretty good too. It's a college crowd.
