Stop! Don’t to anything else until you’ve read this. GO PLAY GAMES has arrived and it’s the gaming event of the year. If you’re a gamer then you’ve got to be here. We’ve got all the latest and greatest games, on all formats, ready and waiting for you. You want to go head to head with Halo 2? You got it. Maybe you’re more of a dog person and fancy training your very own pet with the unique and brilliant new Nintendogs? Or how about being one of the first people in the entire world to play the brand new Gamecube epic, Zelda: Twilight Princess? Whatever your gaming tastes we’ve got something here that will satisfy your cravings. PC junkies are taken care of with cutting edge games from the likes of Ubi Soft and Electronic Arts, and the PlayStation crew can kick back and enjoy some of the finest titles of 2005, months before they’re released. If you’re a player, then this is your playground. Come on in and get ready to cut loose…

The public part of the show, named 'Go Play Games', takes place in Edinburgh from 10-14th August. That's where you can get your hands on Zelda: Twilight Princess and also Nintendogs and a whole host of other great Nintendo DS games. Most people had to fly all the way to Los Angeles to play these classics at E3 - you'll just have to get on a bus!

And that's not all...

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Nintendogs and Battalion Wars Game Screenings - 11-14 August

Exclusive to Edinburgh and presented by some of the biggest names in video games, EiEF Game Screenings are a truly unique opportunity to see the most eagerly anticipated releases for the first time.

As part of the EiEF Game Screenings Nintendo will be showing The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Nintendogs and Battalion Wars. Game screenings give you the chance to come face to face with the people behind the creation and development of these games as well as getting a first hand look at what lies in store.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess will be screened on Saturday 13th August at 12.30pm. Nintendogs will be screened later that day at 5.00pm. Lastly, the Battalion Wars screening takes place on Sunday 14th August at 12.30pm.

Now... Am I sad enough to trek all the way up to Scotland from Liverpool just to play one game?
