to everyone that is hyperfixated with this actor... do we have evidence of idiological red flags
I have heard -- believe it or not -- that he actually runs around in a parody of women's garments, pretending to be a female, building a faux persona online with carefully filtered and angled deceptive shots... and that he even has his PR firm help plant stories about how he's now being considered to take away women's iconic film roles.

Do we need more "red flags" than this?

Those are not red flags.

You know what I'm talking about, posts like this:

This is where the rubber hits the road, you believe a personal choice overrides basic logic.

The basic logic is that if a person wants to become a rock or a cat, its based on a personal identity that is situated on absured rational. People are way less rational than you think and a good percentage of the population develops obsessive traits around what they want. Like being a cat.

Just accepting that this is all philosopical is a base view on complex issues. Its far more likely that humans that are gay join tribes based on needs and wants than people truly having a personal identity of the opposite gender.

That a gay person wants to be the opposite gender is certainly normal and understandable, but just because we dont know how a person truly feels and thinks does not make it justifiable to satiate their desires to be the opposite gender.

Just as we dont allow children to pretend they are Ninja Turtles past the age of 4, no matter their state of mind or feelings.
No, my position is that you have no right over other people in regard to themselves. Where do you assume this authority from? How far does your authority over other people's bodies and lives extend in the name of upholding rationality?

When its clearly not rational to the point of absurdity. When its fantasy and roleplay.

When parents have to deal with children who reject their family because they don't support extreme views the kid pick up on the internet.

I have no authority over anyone, I am just someone voicing my opinion. But if a person tells me they have 5 arms because they self identify as a komodo dragon, I believe I am fully in my right to reject their self identity.

Because people are wrong and misguided all the time.

You dont think people can be wrong about identity? you dont believe in neurosis effects?

Generally, people usually take the stand you are taking, "who are you to tell what they know", that subjective experience is impossible to argue with, but subjective experience is just a neverending ocean without observable facts.

And its not reliable when it comes to classifying genders.

Some of you are acting as if they were considering casting a fat, ugly ResetEra Troon as Zelda.

Schafer looks the part and her life experience has probably made her a better actor. It turns out, I had seen her before in Euphoria and didn't even know she was transgender. It shouldn't matter as long as she is right for the role.

No, I do not think truth itself is subjective. I simply think people are within their rights to interpret reality as they do. If you wish them to follow in what you understand is truth, the means is to use words. Using force is for when people begin imposing on the rights of others. As I already said earlier, if you disagree and wish to voice your disagreement, that is not a thing of compulsion. You are free to do so and people can hash it out with you as they wish.

However, you have been speaking in such a way as not allowing them to live as such, even using examples of disallowing children who wish to do overly fanciful things, which implies forceful controls over freedoms. That is very different from merely carrying on a disagreement with them. My argument has been that it is crossing the line to use compulsion and also hypocritical. If the whole time you have actually meant "Not allow them to do it without voicing my own views based on rationality" then that isn't what I have been talking about or interpreting.
