Playing NTSC PS2 Games on PAL Console

My cousin from Greece has come to NYC and she had been looking to get her kids some PS2 games for their console back home. When my brother and my mom asked me if we could give any games away, I told them that our games wouldn't work on their consoles, but I took a look in the room that she's staying in (my room that I have to give up so I can sleep on a couch) and guess what I saw? Three PS2 games (Alter Echo, LotR: Two Towers, and Champions of Norrath).

The games aren't in shrink wrap and have no price stickers on them, so I'm sure they're a donation of sorts. Since, I don't want to disappoint her and tell her that they won't be able to play, I'm trying to find out if there's an alternate solution to this situation.

I know for a fact that they have a PS2 mini so I'm thinking that there might be some easy to do swap trick (Action Replay maybe?) and I also hear that I might need an additional piece of hardware (some sort of converter)... if you guys can help me get down to the bottom of this plot, I'd appreciate it greatly because I'm kinda short on time in trying to find a solution (because if I could give some of my PS2 games to these kids, I will... they aren't in the best economic position). Thanks in advance.

There isn't any import gaming for the PS2 mini without a modchip

And given the cost of modding (which is expensive and illegal over here in the UK) and the cheapness of import PStwo consoles in comparison (the power adaptor is internationally compatible, 100-240V, so all you need is a replacement mains cable costing about £2 or something) it's doubtful whether it's worth getting it modded.

There's a few pieces of plastic you can stick into the PStwo, which allow it to use a swap-disc. Regular PS2 is more tricky.

SwapMagic works nicely, but instead of the slide tool I use a flip top case mod.

But make sure their tv can handle NTSC. Multi-system tvs are common where I live, but I have no idea about Greece.

Niether do I unfortunately. They don't live in a wealthy area either so I don't believe they would have that kind of TV set unless they're affordable for a decent price.

Is there any place I can order that Swap Magic 3 online?

Most TVs released the last 15 years can handle both NTSC and PAL. If you've played a European PS2 game in 60hz mode your TV can handle it since the 60hz mode on PS2 is actually NTSC (unlike Xbox and Gamecube where it's PAL60).
