It likely will support it. It's future proofing after all, and it's not like it costs crap loads of money to support it. They're going to be using HDMI 1.4 which supports 4k output (non-3D however, there's no HDMI spec that supports 4k 3D).

However, don't expect games to run natively at 4k, even if you get a 4k television. They're going to be upscaled. It's mostly there for 4k movies. If Sony starts talking up 4k games on Wednesday, they're probably spouting completely bullshit.

Yeah, it was mainly 4K games I was referencing, which some actually believe. It would also need a 4K player inbuilt as well though, which would drive up the costs. I think at the most there would be possible support for it later on through streaming services and such. Progression is always good, so I hope I'm wrong. I guess we will see what the 20th brings.

I'm sure that there will still be other new IP's. Both Evolution and Guerrilla are rumored to be showing their new IP's at the event. Then you have potential third party IP's and anything else that Sony may pull out. But TLG and Versus would be huge just because we've been waiting to hear anything new about them.

Yep, I like Arthur, I like RebelFM, for the most part I like his taste in games - but his staunch love of the 360 and disdain for the PS3 doesn't sit well with me. I guess at least he's honest and doesn't play in the centre as if he has no preference.

That engine wasn't quite ready though. I know they were using Luminous engine for Versus for the lightning, but the gameplay was done on a modified Crystal Tools Engine. I doubt if they moved all that work over to a new engine.
