It has begun

Also here is this week's update:

Coins unlock different stages. You earn them buy playing.

ZooZooGo! is fun, must buy for any puzzle fan.

Haven't tried Rock Boshers DX yet.

Bought ZooZooGo. It has 3 minigames in it.
Concerning the match-3 game, my quick comparison to ToMB:
-It's not free
-Overall theme obviously
-Different gameplay: you don't swap tiles, but move full columns or rows
-ToMB can be much more crazy
-Visuals on ZZG are cute and crisp and animals have small animations and sounds.
-There is no hint button: this is a plus, as it adds tension
-There are some additions that require you to think slightly differently (rocks, glass, ...)
-IAPs are optional (as in ToMB)
-Some animals are intentionally very similar in colour.
-There are some powerups, of which you can use 4 per game, and add more with coins.

Conclusion: if you like match-3 games, want to try a new formula, and animals theme doesn-t act as a deterrent for you, then ZZG is a no brainer.

Mah-Jong:
-Standard mahjong solitaire
-Curiously, here you can play much more quickly than your average Mahjong Solitaire.
-There are also powerups

Really tempted by sixty second shooter.

Someone buy it and post some impressions

I will have some on my site in a bit. If you like geometry wars at all you should pick it up.

Hey man, at least SCEA got that Mirrors Edge-esque free running game.
Funny note: SCEA asked me if I knew how to get in contact with that guy after we posted about it on my site a few months back...

Nice one. I'll look out for your impressions first.

And LOL what, really? Terrible.

tell them you'll get back to them. but don't. or do it on GCT.

bought SSSD and have $.01 left. Heck yeah.

Sixty Second Shooter Deluxe is fantastic! But after I unlock everything, the replay is sure to take a nose dive until the leaderboards are patched in. It'll still be fun chasing (my own) high score though.

I noticed today Pinky Spots (leg massage game) is available at EU. Was it silently added today? Because it is not in the "latest" section.

Installed PSMobile on my Xperia Arc S the other day, still quite bare-bones as a service..

Played the free card game collection until the trial time ended, not bad as a demonstration of what you can do on the service. Especially liked the customizeable controls.

Too bad they removed all PSOne games, as that was the thing I was most looking forward to...

edit: If Sony are really serious about this service going forward, I hope they design adapters for the Xperia phones and tablets that allow you to connect buttons/sticks to your device.

Now that I look into it there seem to be some pretty nice third party solutions already..

I see. Looking over some of the Xperia forums I was under the impression it was initially considered, and may possibly return in the future..

As far as i'm aware it was just something they put up until Playstation Mobile was ready to go out properly.

Anyway, sixty second shooter is my new favourite PSM game.

Seems like a missed opportunity to me... many ps1 games were already released for these phones in Japan. Why take them away instead of leaving them on the store?

I do agree that using the PSone Classics on the Mobile store would be a good idea. Just make sure they don't show up on the Vita PlayStation Mobile storefront.

I mentioned this on the PSN News thread but it actually belongs here:

Just wondering, are there any Doujin/Japanese Indie games coming to PSM soon besides Sword of Rapier?

Pinky Spots Leg Massage already came out

There's a few. I have to imagine it's difficult to track the Japanese Mobile dev scene. There is a section on the official developers forum for the Japanese peeps.

Posted these in the Vita Screenshot thread but thought i may as well post them here too.

sixty second shooter looks absolutely gorgeous on the Vita. Great fun too, though will be much better when PSN features are added to the SDK and patched into games like this.
