PlayStation Network Thread (Vita/PS3/PS4) | September 2014

Definitely picking up Chariot this week, maybe Second Chance Heroes. I was going to get Natural Doctrine, but I figured I could wait for a price drop on that one.

I'm pretty sure the lowest brightness setting on the 2000 is a lot dimmer than the lowest on the 1000. That might also be what the picture is showing.

Indeed. And the 2000 gets brighter on max settings too (but of course, the oversaturation of the OLED make it stand out more).

I asked in the other thread but where can i find my settings for ps plus subscriptions on the psn website? I know i can do it on a ps4 but i cant find any account information that shows me the details of my ps plus service.

What vita did you get? And from where?

Some solid games in that list :).

The Incredibles, from what I remember playing it years ago, is a fun kids game with solid controls, colorful visuals and varied gameplay (for example, Mr. Incredible's gameplay is very similar to a generic action game while Dash plays a bit like the Modern Sonic games, with him being able to run super fast from over-the-sholder perspective with his 'boost' meter having a over-heat mechanic). I liked it when I was little, so I recommend that for people looking for a fun kids game to play :).

Futuridium EP Deluxe looks really cool :D! From another gaffers comments, it is TxK + Veolicty X2 + Star Fox........must buy just from that comment alone XD!

Shadows of Mortor seems to be a good game :). The reviews make the game look like a solid time and the combat just looks like a lot of fun based on gameplay alone.

Really surprised with Invisables though :l. They were only EU games for so long, so them coming over to the US PSN is quite a nice surprise :D. The action game one is the most promising of the two, as it can be fun if pulled off well :).

Impressions?

Edit

Can you go into more detail? I've been interested since I saw the footage (although it looks a little rough)
-It's as hard as what other reviewers have been saying. I'm not even sure if I'll even beat the third stage tbh.
-The game is ugly but I'm sure everyone here knows that.
-It's kinda boring but that's just my opinion.
-Skill tree is nice.
-It runs well on PS4 and Vita. I've been doing a lot of the game on my Vita though since my PS4 is now a FFXIV machine.
That's about it. I'm honestly glad I didn't pay $40 for it though.

Ugh, I wish it was cross-buy so hard. It's so hard to choose, similar issue with Akiba's trip

Just finished chap 2 of Danganronpa. Are all the investigations going to be this easy to solve? I basically had everything figured out before the trial. Well
besides the fact that it was Mondo.

I thought chapter 3 was when DR went from good to great and just kept getting better after that.

Is it cross buy? And I was hoping it'd be in the £10-15 range - any more than that sounds pretty rough...

I think I'm gonna wait on Natural Doctrine and hear more opinions from here, just like Destiny some people love it and others hate it. With the Destiny patch news for next week I think I'm gonna be playing it again, so there's that. Then there's Persona 4 Arena Ultimax too, which I'm going to play for the story only but with school and assignments due before thanksgiving in ~2 weeks I'm going to be pretty busy.

Yeah, I feel the same way

Agreed. Things really start to ramp up in Chapter 3.

I once hoped that Natural Doctrine would be good, but I hate cheap hard games.

Now I don't feel so bad about missing out on the LE. I'll probably still pick it up just cause I buy everything NISA publishes, but definitely not till it drops in price.

Of all the Atlus games on sale, which ones are worth picking up?

I already have Persona 4 Golden and P3:FES (on disc. Considered picking up this version for convenience but I heard about some emulation issues late-game...)

I wanna get Ciel nosurge Offline and Ar nosurge Plus but I'm kinda of wary of just forgetting Ciel midway.

I have Ciel nosurge (online/vanilla one) from PS+ and I know the entire point of Offline is to skip all those real-time related stuff. But I hope it's integrated well enough.

Last time I tried playing something like it, I just abandoned it midway. (
Rinko in Love Plus is cute, but I'm not up to take care a human female tamagotchi. -__-
)
_____________

Playing Musou Orochi 2 Ultimate (Warror's Orochi?). Goddamn. I have been living a lie. I've pretty much spent the entire part of the vanilla game not knowing how to use the Sengoku character's Musou Ougi. No wonder I thought they were somewhat lacking than Sangoku characters.

Srsly, I used them as some sort of canceller/stunner for enemy. I've never played a Sengoku Musou, too. >___>

P.S. Holy shit, Garasha is too awesome.

I'm just going to read a summary of Ciel before playing Surge+. Have pretty much no interest in that kind of gameplay
or character
.
