WWE 2k14I really want to buy a wrestling/ fighting game since PC had really been lacking in this department but it seems that both WWE 2K15 and EA Sports NFC had received mixed reviews.
so... Which one should I buy?

I won't connect at all lol.The Dark Souls OT is still very active and full of people wanting to talk about the game if you do start it and need any more info or advice. Also, since you mentioned playing Demon's Souls offline, Dark Souls loads online automatically when you start it, doesn't ask you to connect. If you want to play offline, just sign out of PSN from the XMB before starting it. I was unplugging my ethernet cord each time I started the game, but signing out of PSN is a lot easier hah.
I hate the " you are 5 years old" tutorials of this age . I mean if its a platform game or a fps game its obvious you use either the dpad or the left stick to move the character ,this kind of useless explanations in new tutorials are tiresome and lame. I hate too that new gamers need the same mechanism in every game making some games being the same one but with a different skin. I mean even when I love metal gear solid, the last installment has too much of " mainstream" design choices for my taste and im not sure i will support it.You notice when a game tries to achieve the new standard for design of the game industry. Regenerating health , autosave everything and checkpoints every 2 seconds makes games easy or dull and not a real challenge , some of them are too exaggerated for my taste. Then when the game uses a save system that is different like say re remake is a bad thing. Idk why. I respect everyone's tastes but im being forced to play games lacking variety in the overall design. And every game is turning into either a call of duty or an uncharted design wise. Indies in general don't care much about that and that's why they have my respects.
i wonder who the hell thought Borderlands 2 vita was a good idea. 2 year old AAA port of a game that everyone had already moved on from. Not to mention its a goddamn UE3 open world fps. Real smart way to 'market' the Vita 2000 in the west.
Tomorrow Sony Japan Studio will have a special nico nico stream focusing in new digital-only games for vita.

Here's my Axiom Verge review, very spoiler free. If you have ever enjoyed a Metroidvania this game is absolutely essential. One of the best of the genre, that it was made by one person is almost unbelievable.
Don't worry about the $20 price tag. I have beaten it 3 times already and plan to do it at least two more and have spent over 30 hours in it. To say it is worth $20 is an underestimation.
My only wish is that whatever is announced there will be released outside Japan. and in English.
That was a fantastic review TapTap : perfectly and informatively stated everything about the game without giving much away and you being critical of it and other games (your comment about Metroid missile expansions in comparison to how Axiom Verge offers guns for exploration as an reward is a great comparison) made the review all the more effective. Great job man ; going to look into your other reviews for future games I might be interested in .
Guys remind me / everyone in September that Playstation Mobile is shutting down. I have no space on my memory card so I'll delay downloading them for now.
If you're going to recommend dreck like Demon Gaze you might as well go whole hog and tell them to buy Mind Zero.
I enjoyed Mind Zero.
I played the first four GoWs and like them all but they aren't much different.
It looks and controls well but it is super tedious. Play it in 15 minute increments because all you do is shoot zombies in the head. Each room is like a never ending spawn of them. Kinda worth it for short bursts at $5.
No one is insane for recommending Demon Gaze, just not what I would recommend.
Insane for liking Mind Zero? Yeah, I will stand by that. DO NOT BUY MIND ZERO.
Legit question: How exactly is Mind Zero terrible? I just thought it was a sub-par persona rip-off or is that the reason why?
A friend who likes pretty much every Vita release bought it and said it was the worst waste of money of his entire life and demanded that I give it a shot. I made it 40 minutes in before I tapped.
As far as I'm concerned Mind Zero is the single worst retail release the Vita has. Maybe some really awful PSM game might beat it, but even then it won't be quite the waste of money Mind Zero is.
Good to hear you liked it--was a hard review to write. I'm not mentioning some of my favorite things in the game because spoilers are really a big deal. There's some really wow-worthy stuff in terms of visuals and gameplay. It also solves a lot of interesting issues with Metroidvania design.
I've been thinking of doing a spoiler-heavy comparison between Metroid and Axiom Verge, but I'm also doing the OT and a guide for the game (both should be out tomorrow) so that'll wait for a while. Plus I feel I should really beat the original Metroid before making too many comparisons, I always gave up on that one. Going back to the original after Super is...rough.
Great read, can't wait to get into it! I couldn't find this anywhere in your review, and not that it is important, but at how many fps does it run? Here's my Axiom Verge review, very spoiler free. Don't expect too much, it can be only JP releases of US indie games.
I see, my intention was to play the game solely through the Vita, with the 60fps update. I'm hoping that the controls don't deter me from enjoying the gameplay too much, I see the game as a perfect fit for a smaller crisp screen than my TV.Urg I keep thinking of cool stuff the game does that I didn't even mention in the review. Will definitely do an in depth analysis...later.
It's most certainly 60 FPS--probably the single biggest limiting factor for remoteplay, but I haven't tried it in RP since disabling that awful wifi power save thingy. It definitely feels wrong to play in 30 FPS or 60 FPS with drops. Like I say in the review remoteplay is possible (especially with remappable controls!) but the Vita version will probably require some minor regiggering to fit all the relevant controls in.
I guess it's all up to personal preference, but I felt the game played best with a pair of headphones, sitting directly in front of the TV with a controller in hand. I even sat down on the floor about 3 feet from the TV a couple times, like a little kid. It seems to have basically zero compression effects on Remoteplay but (with power save) the framerate wasn't quite there. I'll give it another shot tonight.
This seems like an excellent idea.
Going to buy Axiom Verge this week to save a couple bucks but will play on Vita. Any word on the Vita release date?
My PS4 time is spent playing the surprisingly still janky but much better Borderlands collection. I think I got my hopes up too high for this but I am still having fun.

I'd use something to do with glitches. Something with them being integral to the gameplay and not like other games out there... Can't think of a snarky sentence for what I mean though.Oh crap, thread titles. Any last minute suggestions for the Axiom Verge OT subtitle? (I'd like it to not just be "it's metroid!!!")
Couple months it sounds like?
I think it's gonna be a little longer, it is only one guy doing all of the work after all. Then there's the whole approval process to go through.
It's getting a 10% sale on its first week launch. Buy it now for 17.99, and once it drops on the Vita you will already have it!That's too bad. Mildly interested in AV, but the lack of a vita version and $20 pricetag screams sale to me.
It's a very old tweet and most likely refers to Borderlands 2.Digimon? Please be Digimon.

Is it me or the back touch pad of the Vita slim is very prone to scratches? I have one that looks like a trigonometric curve. Sadly it's deep enough for me to feel it. Hell I think dust is building up inside it since the device is glossy.
I don't even know how that even got there in the first place. It never left my room.

Yes, back touch is awful for scratches. One of the pros of a grip.
I think with Axiom Verge, my purchases for the next month or two will be done on the Sony side, the game seems to not be super long either which I appreciate (gonna be doing some NG runs for sure). Finally, my wallet will be getting a break and I will be able to play what I have. Aside from that, I've only got Xenoblade in a few days so I will be pretty busy with it and Bloodborne.

Too late haha,I think that curve scratch was there for a long time but I just realized it now since I actually looked at the back. Honestly it's awful. I should be glad that the back touchpad is almost never used.
I actually saved up on buying anything digitally and still have some funds in there, I'll be using that towards AV. I will still have money left, that I can use on a sale or something.Actually I'm kinda sad I spent the money I had in my wallet on Revelations 2, since I still didn't play it and it will take a while to do so.
And Axiom Verge seems amazing, but I won't spend a dime on PS for a couple of months since I've been buying non-stop lately.I'll get it if Shizuka buys my Bloodborne
Pretty awesome, sounds like the type of game I will be playing more "casually" so to speak. Whenever I am bored or whatever, I'll just pick it up again and replay it.This could be considered a spoiler, but if you're curious about lengthLots of replayability, both intrinsically (Metroidvanias are generally fun to replay) and extrinsically via trophies. There's a platinum trophy, but be warned it is quite hard. These are just trophy/replay incentives but I'll spoiler just in case:My first playthrough was 12 hours and 75% completion, I've played around 30 hours now, 3 playthroughs completed, lowest time was around 4:50. There's an achievement for under 4 hours which is highly possible but you'll need to know what you're doing, play well and be very focused.Multiple playthroughs, including a low percent and a speedrun (both pretty forgiving but certainly not a cakewalk), a hard mode run, and a no deaths run which is kind of terrifying.
You might have fiddled with the optionsI'm playing the Toukiden Kiwami demo, and it seems that the camera is controlled with the D-pad, leaving the right stick unused.
Please tell me I'm missing something!
On the plus side, the touch panel scratches do not appear to hinder it's effectiveness. Mine's all scarred up with very thin scratches, feels a tiny bit bumpy, works like a charm. I mean. As well as groping around the back of the device ever did.
