PlayStation Plus Monthly Games (May 2021) - Wreckfest (PS5) - (PS4) Battlefield V, Stranded Deep

Already play Wreckfest from PS Now but would like to try BF5 and Stranded.
BF5 other than the controversy, I hear gameplay loop isn't as good as other BF's. I'll see though.
Stranded, I'll check out when i need something to waste some time in.
Good month for me.
This is PS5 upgrade version of Wreckfest though, its a lot more than just higher framerate

I wasn't aware of BFV sales being so bad that it's coming to Plus. What was the last time a Battlefield title came out on Plus?

Well, sales might have been terrible but at least that dev can sleep well at night for being on the "right side of History" and able to tell his infant daughter he made a WW2 game with disabled women on the frontlines running around firing heavy rifles with the help of active cybernetic arm prostheses.

Why is Sony not asking every PS plus user what they want?? It's just arrogant Sony all over again.
Have a look at games with gold and be thankful for what you are getting.

I'm confused, this trailer for Wreckfest PS5 features, says its coming June 1st:

I thought we were getting the PS5 version in a week or so through PS Plus? Is the official release just after its been on PS Plus for a month?

Or this is physical only?

The PlayStation Plus version is the PS5 native version. It has been officially announced on the Bugbear forums and on their Wreckfest Facebook page. Can't wait to play it on tuesday !

I haven't played Stranded or Wreckfest before so its a solid month.

Owned BFV since day 1 and welcome the newcomers. Solid month. Last several months I've owned the games they've given for free lol, but I like those games so I'm happy others game to play em.

Apparently they're live now

Live in Australia and NZ now. Should roll-out from midnight in your respective region. Search for titles individually as the PS+ overview page tends to update later in the day. Happy gaming!

As I suspected, Stranded Deep is not for me.

I gave Wreckfest another whirl and someone is going to have to explain the appeal to me someday. The car deformations are cool and all and destruction derby can be a nice distraction, but the racing itself feels bog standard except it gives you the online experience of using other drivers as bumpers on corners instead of applying your breaks.

Do you enjoy multiplayer FPS? COD Destiny etc? Why do you enjoy them? Because you fight to be better than the other guy and you are granted instant satisfaction when your crosshair goes red when you kill him.

In this game, the cars are your weapons, your mischievous driving against other players is your bullet, and your final place is your scoreboard. The instant satisfaction comes from when you gain a place, or save your place, while leaving your opponent kissing a barrier or lamp post. Instant fun when you look back and the other guy is rolling over. And when someone rams you to the side of the road, you feel this revenge energy to chase him and payback in kind.

Don't play it like a racing game. This is a survival deathmatch game where you not only have to survive, but you have to try and finish the race in the best possible place.

This game brings back what we had during the PS3 era and completely lost during PS4 generation. Its Motorstorm online multiplayer.

Whether you're using the web version or the PS4 console version, between now and June 1, you can download Capcom Arcade Stadium: Ghosts 'n Goblins, for free, as long as you're a PlayStation Plus subscriber. If you're not a PS Plus subscriber, you will need to fork over $2 to play the game.

As the name suggests, you will need Capom Arcade Stadium to play it. Fortunately, Capcom Arcade Stadium is a free download. It's also worth noting the game is included in the Capcom Arcade Stadium Packs 1, 2, and 3 bundle, which means you may already have it downloaded if you own this.
