Playstation Plus Thread 2: How do I hold all these games?

One of the most adorable kart racers around is entering the PS Plus Instant Game Collection tomorrow: ModNation Racers: Road Trip for PS Vita.

In a field of *maybe* five, it falls *maybe* fifth. I'm giving F1 Race Stars the edge over it for adorability.

Post it like I usually do. I'm at work on my phone.

Here ya go. It's a long one.

Well, this is a dumb quirk.

Can anybody explain the logic to me behind the inability to redeem PS Plus codes purchased online, you know, online?

Sony is going to make me log into my PS4 and type out a code on the controller to renew a membership opposed to allowing me to "Redeem Code" from their web portal.

It says "This code cannot be redeemed in a web browser" - a ridiculous inconvenience for people who don't want to give Sony their credit card information.

Ah, the trial codes require you to give them your credit card, which can only be done from a console. Regular PS+ codes should work from the browser.

Completely random, but I finally finished Rayman Origins from PS+ last night and just wanted to say... I hope that last level dies in a fire. Does Rayman Legends also rely on memorization as much as this one, or does it have real platforming?

Nope, unfortunately they don't. Recently bought a 1 year code from Amazon and couldn't redeem it in the browser.

@Celegus: IMO Legends was a lot easier

Still no rumors for U.S. PS+ free games in March? Since the EU and Asia are getting Dead Nation for PS4, I'd imagine that's our free PS4 title, but I haven't heard any speculation about PS3 or Vita titles.

Yeah, it's surprising to me too that we haven't heard anything yet. I'm hoping for the best, but have a feeling this month's games aren't going to be too great. Got Dead Nation on PS3 for free during the Welcome Back program; not my cup of tea at all - really disliked it. So I'm hoping NA doesn't get Dead Nation PS4 (though I'm sure we will). As for PS3, have a feeling this will be an off-month for me. I've loved the last couple of months...hard to keep up such an amazing string of games.

Leaving EU PS Plus on 5th March:

Outlast/Sound Shapes
Metro Last Light
Guacamelee! (Cross Buy)
Dynasty Warriors Next
ModNation Racers Road Trip

Entering EU PS Plus on 5th March:

Dead Nation Apocalypse Edition
Tomb Raider
Brothers A Tale of Two Sons
Pixeljunk Monsters Ultimate HD
Smart As

Haha, this is the first update in a while where I've owned almost all of the games. I have been wanting to play Unit 13 though, so that's cool.

Not bad, I knew we'd get Tomb Raider eventually. I'm still thinking of cancelling, though. I think the only games worth my time are the ones on PS4, and even though I can add them to my download list for a future date, I don't own a PS4 yet and so it doesn't make a great deal of sense to keep my PS+ subscription around for much longer.

I really hate the new EU blog design. Might work on tablets but Its useless on mobile and its useless on desktop.

Yeah, I had to reduce the font size a couple of degrees just to get it to look somewhat reasonable.

Really, really dislike the way general web design is going, lol.

Nice update for me even though I bought Tomb Raider already, there are 5 good games I want to play, usually I only get about 2 a month from Plus that I really want to play or don't own already. What's nice is Thomas was alone and lone survivor are cross buy so you get to play Vita version, I actually rather play those on Vita.

Bought two 1 year PS+ membership cards during amazon sale last holiday season.
Should I redeem it now or wait for some sort of promotion (last years get 3 months free)

I hope the platinum for Dead Nation is a little easier on PS4. I remember it being incredibly hard on PS3.

Still going to play it though.

Meh for March, already own most of those. I could sell my retail Tomb Raider copy though. :D
Never played Monster Hunter. Is the one coming to PS+ a good one?

I want to know too. I think you can play this on the PSP, right? It was originally a PSP game after all. If I liked MH3 on the Wii, I should like this?

That's a solid list for March, better than February to me. I haven't played Tomb Raider or Lone Survivor, but I can vouch for the awesomeness that is Thomas Was Alone.

Kinda weird month. Tomb raider is nice but i was planning on getting the ps4 version. Dead nation is ok, not a fan of recycled ps3 stuff. Thomas was alone is interesting. My son is excited about monster hunter. Others, i have no clue.

You'll be set for the game if you played MH3, but it'll probably feel like a step backwards mechanics wise. But the content is solid, so it'll be fun all the same.

Finished Tomb Raider on 360 on Hard with bow only...I may play through it again on PS3 with guns. It is a good no-thinking game to blast through for stress relief.

Including TR was a mistake for them to make, personally. I was eyeing down that PS4 version waiting for a half-decent sale, but now I won't bite because I'll be playing a chuggier version of it for free next month.

Actually, I think their first mistake was throwing Hitman and Sleeping Dogs onto PS+ so quickly. I didn't buy TR at all because I figured it was a matter of time, and here it is.

Although, I'm grateful to Square Enix for that.

Same here, although none of these three were anything I'd go out of my way to buy (even if cheap). But I'll try them for free. Sleepy Dogs was alright, but Hitman was awful, so hopefully Tomb Raider is okay (I've never played any games in the series).

Jup, although I don't mind it. Saves me 60 bucks.

What a strange decision to include Tomb Raider. They've broken even on it, right? Maybe they don't really care about the longevity of profits for that title anymore and just want to get the quick buck.

I, for one, am quite glad to see TR on there. Won't be going next-gen any time soon, and have been curious about it for a while.

Will take a look at Brothers as well, as I doubt that'll eat up too much time.
