I understand that but the wording wouldn't make much sense, at least not in my mind, why not say that you had already bought it, why mention the PS3? My assumption was that the OP had purchased the PS3 version of WipEout instead, but I could well be wrong.
I make him right! I demand value of at least US proportions!
Anything important missing?

It so is. I haven't even got through a quarter of the games Sony handed out during January! I don't have time for this Sony!

Why did it said 30 day sub in the charge? Any triple AAA game with a short campaign? It can be of any genre.
It's like the guys responsible for EU PS+ are the only ones at Sony that understand that Europe is their stronghold with the biggest fanbase and treat them accordingly.
well the best comparison would be looking back at EU getting Deus Ex: Human Revolution, which NA did not get yet, so I wouldn't count on NA getting sleeping dogs next month.
you likely auto renewed off a 1 month trail, but if you check your subscriptions in account manager you should have plus for 3 months after the auto renew charge took place as that is the 3 month price, and the 1 month subs renew for 3 months once auto renew kicks in.
Plus' rates in general are $18 for 3 months and $50 for a year.
The current deal for NA is $50 for 15 months which works out to $3.33 a month.
If for some bazaar reason you check your subs and it says it's only good for one month contact sony support because it should be for 3 months.
I don't even think that guy has even seen all of the mediocre games America has been getting.
You give SCEA too much credit. Your theory implies Sony knows what it's doing and our treatment is a cold, calculating decision instead of pure incompetence.
It's only missing a few finishing moves afaik, so nothing really important.

Glad that we still get Sleeping Dogs (germany) although heavy cut content is always a bummer.
Couldn't play Bulletstorm longer than 30 minutes because i was angry at how the blood and stuff was cut. Why make the games for 18+ at all when you cut stuff nonetheless... I know how it looks from youtube.
Going to check schnittbereichte.com to see what was cut from the german Sleeping Dogs version.
Edit: well the cuts are not that bad. Blood is still there. Only the crazy finisher stuff is cut. I'm "ok" with this.

those other games aren't good comparisons, I brought up deus ex in particular because both that and sleeping dogs are square enix releases, which means sleeping dogs will likely follow what ever route deux ex did which was to not show up in NA.

Fantastic update as usual for EU +, was thinking of getting Sleeping Dogs so this has made that decision easy now.
Already have Wipeout 2048 since I got the 3G Vita day 1 but free Lumines is great.
As always, seeing what + brings I just cant help but think How can people justify Gold?

Actually it would be interestng to see subscriber numbers for EU vs NA PSN+ as it might be affecting budget allowance SCEA, SCEE gets for PSN+ games.

Mass play for an entire season (assuming it even follows that model) with people who haven't actually had any practice on the game could be *golden*. I'd be up for that if anyone else is; dunno how many players it supports, but I'd be happy to sit on it *completely* sight-unseen until a given play date.

NA store just gets weekly updates.

Yes but on a weekly basis. This week we know that Chronovolt expires tomorrow, and they'll announce the game(s) being added tomorrow in a few hours.
Used to get both with a fair amount of regularity (in the EU at least) but I think people complained and since then we've had very few.

We used to get a free PSOne title regularly in the US, but they inexplicably stopped doing it. Ludicrous.
US has alot Xbox users (more then Ps3) and most of them have a huge friendlists. When all your friends play on Xbox (live) you don't want to change to another system only because there is better "value" for the money.

As others have said we used to get PS1/Minis every month but once they gave + a kick up the arse at E3 they have changed their focus to more recent/full titles, mainly to offer better value and to shut some complainers up too most likely.
