Yea I got it, it took weeks to arrive. That's one of the three EU codes I have that I'm trading plus a $50 US PSN card if someone wants to trade for code(s) for the EU store that will allow me to purchase a years worth of PS Plus EU before the sale ends with the store publish tomorrow. If I put a US credit card on my EU account and buy it that way will that work? That deals pretty good. I'm desperate.My offer still stands until tomorrow. I will give you my $50 US PS card and three one month ps + eu codes for whoever can give me a code(s) that will equal up to the price of a year of PS + eu (while it's on sale).
Vanquish is listed as free now, you have to search it up though. They haven't updated the PS+ page yet.
Edit: Not even close. I suppose to stay somewhat relevant, Maverick Hunter can be found the same way. Also, did they recently change the way PS3 handles downloads? before I had to add an item to my cart and that would be that. Now it seems like the only option is to straight up download.

Ok, so the Dust 514 Starter Pack is new and definitely not the same as the Mercenary Pack, but it's still nice. 7 day active booster, a BPO (never expires) assualt rifle with a larger than standard clip iirc, 60 dropsuits split between heavy, scout, and assault, and $1 worth of Aurum. 
The interesting thing is you can choose to buy it. I don't even want to think about the mess that'd happen if that means the DLC could expire if my subscription runs out.

Yep it's a trial that only works on accounts that have never had PS+ before. Also needs a credit card to be redeemed (not necessarily an EU credit card, though).
It is, I haven't really used the PS3 Store since the webstore launched. Only used it today to redeem the $10 code I got from Sony.

True, the webstore also allows you to check out multiple free items at the same time which isn't possible in the real store.
Today was the first time I went into the PS3 store since the web store launched and that was only because the free $10 credit in my inbox sent me into it. I have zero reason to ever enter the PS3 store again. It's faster for me to buy everything from the web store then go to my download list in the XMB and download stuff from there.
Guy was just boring, she at least brought something new to the show.

Yeah, I went to the PSN store just now after picking up my credit to nab Vanquish and Mega Man and it took me straight to download instead of add to cart. Guess I'll use the web store in the future for PSN+ hording, I don't know why but immediate cancel just rubs my OCD the wrong way for whatever dumb reason haha.
isn't it on discount now.. buy 1 year, get 3 months free?

Definitely enough for them to keep selling at that price.
Pretty sure some EA game after being on sale for just three days at £49.99 managed to get high in the Top 10 for that month.

It's ridiculous. I'm interested in buying Battlefield 3 again for PS3 as I fancy a shooter, but it's still priced at £49.99?!
It was never £50 at retail even at launch, so it begs belief at how EA/Sony can keep up this pricing justifiably. The only reason must be that people are buying it, which is astounding and utterly ridiculous.
Then you have games like Far Cry 3 which are £59.99 on the store. That is £20 more than any retail store was selling it at release.
Edit: Same with Black Ops 2 as it'd be nice to have a downloadable copy, but not for £60....
And you can buy it for roughly £20 now.
I think it's just people who can afford it to be honest.
I won't lie, that if I had the money and HDD space I likely would just download everything.
Hate going out and buying things or waiting for them to arrive by post.

Oh yeah, the convenience factor is there. I can probably find Black Ops 2 for £35 now but I can see someone impulse buying it at £40-45. £20 more than retail strikes me as bloody odd though.
It's a shame though because I'd definitely buy a lot more from Sony's store if they were priced competitively, or even priced sensibly.
