I already played through the Mortal Kombat story mode so I'm actually hoping the game isn't MK. With Injustice coming out in April and MK being available for cheap it has to be the most likely candidate. But that would probably make too much sense and they'll give us Deadliest Warrior instead.

If you bought the 1 year subscription on Wednesday or after, you will get $10 back in April.

Actually Street Fighter X Tekken just dropped to $20 at some retailers. So....
 
For some reason, PSN won't accept payment. It reports an error on the PS3 and on the browser. I just want to give them money.... Called my CC and they said that they've tried to authorize payment but Sony keeps requesting a $0.00 purchase so it's on Sony's end. Tried to call Sony and their customer support is closed and tomorrow PSN is down for maintenance. Fucking hell.
 
With the random $10 I got from Sony a week or so ago I couldn't resist re-subscribing given the bonus 3 months of PS+ and another $10 back. Good job Sony.
 
Has anyone beaten Knytt Underground? I plan on finishing it this month if possible, if only to get its trophies, but overall how is it as a metroid-like game?
 
Where can I buy cheap, 1-year PS Plus subscription for Australia PSN? I can't add funds to my wallet, thanks to SCE.

Is this ok for Australian account?

Be prepared to drink lots of coffee to keep your motivation up.

Its a very ambient game. Very big too, but it felt oh so dull to me.

Its not very metroid like, but you have to be creative with your skills/abilities.

I didnt complete it, but chapter 1 & 2 are suppose to be nothing compared to chapter 3 in terms of length.
 
Somewhat off topic but does the $10 Sony gave away expire on Tuesday? Or is it just the code? I figured it was just the code but I want to make sure

The code itself meaning if you dont use it by then, it wont work anymore. But if you redeem it, it will stay in your account until you use it. PSN is not as advanced where credit is removed from your account like Amazon does.

Amazon.com will remove credit from your giftcard balance if it's not used? That's not true with Amazon.ca and that seems weird.

I did. The story is really weak/bad, but the rest is good (soundtrack, platform mechanics, secrets, etc).

And there is 1 missable trophy.

Yup, I wish they would bring everything else over as well like messaging. I had to go on my PS3 to get the $10 they were sending out recently just to go back to my PC to shop :P
 
Wow! Sleeping Dogs is actually REALLY good! I hope the GTA5 devs have taken a good look at this game, because it really nails the genre :)
 
Finally a member. Was planning on getting in it before PS4 plans announced so i could get some extra benefits.

I knew there was great stuff, but now that i'm checking on depth, is just so good. So many great things that my internet is crying to download all those things.

The only problem with this, and Sony can't help me, is that i probably don't have enough time to enjoy all the extras.

Store works fine for me in safari on iPad. Better than on the ps3.

Same problem. Previously working credit card no longer working on psn. Bank sees the $0 transaction. I talked to Sony support and they just had me make sure my address matched up with my statement. It did. Haven't moved in years. Never got it fixed. Now I'm using Paypal. Hopefully you can figure something out.

I had that. I ended up just buying a $50 code from Amazon. Freaking annoying.

You have no idea, that's what i dislike about plus... humongous list of games to playtrough and not nearly enough time, and they keep shoving new ones all the time... but hey... who's complaining?.
 
Spent my $50 for the month from the 26th and today. Actually went over and spent about $55. Will probably use the $10 credit for some DLC or a game I really want lol.

They told me it was a lock out on my system that wasn't PSN ID specific. The customer service woman said she'd email me a list of "tips and tricks" (I wondered if she was going to send me a PDF of an old game magazine) and instead I got nothing but a survey asking how their support was. To be fair, she was really nice but she said there wasn't much they could do to help me. She said the lock resets after 24hrs so to try again. Apparently it is triggered when your billing address doesn't match the address the CC company has on file. So, apparently, fixing that will solve the problem.

I decided to go the PayPal route only because I wanted to take advantage of the stacking 1yr+3mon promotion with $49.99 get $10 back. So that's very annoying but I suppose it works. I'm not going to bother trying to fiddle with my CC info on PSN because I'm afraid it'll be more hassle than it's worth.

Works fine, I've been continent hopping with various accounts/plus for years. It's adding funds through a credit card that's usually ip locked.
 
So when can we expect the blog to list the US Plus content? Today or tomorrow? My Work net blocks the US Blog site now so I can't check it =_=.
