I could definitely see P4A being a PS+ game at some point in the future. Its retail price has absolutely TANKED (I've seen it for as low as $15 at times).

It really hasn't tanked that hard given how "old" it is. It's shown up a couple times on the gamefly sale for $15, but it sold out within minutes. I just bought it last week and couldn't find a better price than $25-30. For an almost year old fighting game, that's not bad at all, though I'm sure the supply is much lower than something like Street Fighter.

Game is great though!

I've bought two three month subscriptions so far and have been really pleasantly surprised by the offerings so far. Sleeping Dogs, The Cave, LBP2, Infamous 2, Scott Pilgrim and Quantum Conundrum have all been games I'd probably not have bought but have played and enjoyed while I've been a member.

Think of it this way, when your PS+ sub runs out and you lose access to the games on the service, it's likely that any that you do want to "keep forever" you'll be able to find at a much more discounted price than if you'd bought them when they came onto PS+ anyway.

You aren't "losing" anything, though. Because you don't "own" the free games from PS+. Plus, you do get to keep anything you buy discounted on PS+, and I can almost guarantee you'd save at least $60 a year just buying discounted stuff. And that's not even counting free games. PS+ really does pay for itself.

I guess I just don't see the logic in your line of thought here. For the price of one full PS3 game per year, you can have access to 40+ games per year. I'd personally place higher value on being able to experience a great number of games I'd otherwise likely never play than on being able to own one game.

Yeah it's like someone coming up to you and asking "If you give me Bioshock Infinite to keep I will let you play 40+ games for 12 months and as bonus maybe I'll let you play Bioshock Infinite later on, deal?"

I've always looked at PS+ as Netflix for games. As long as you're around for the period you can "rent" the game, you can always pick it up whenever you want. Even if I'm not interested in a game, I'll make sure to "buy" it, but not download it, so I can get to it whenever.


Only thing that bothers me is the quality of one region vs. another, aka US PS+ is a waste.

It expires whenever the PS Store updates. Since that was supposed to be yesterday, I'd advise you to just purchase it right now. The store could update at any given time now.

Store hasn't updated, it's still showing me it for the discounted PS+, but the Icon is missing for the game
It says "Purchased" in blue and the banner still going with the promotion

I had something similar a while back - it seems like an expiry sometimes gets flagged even if you've extended it. I haven't had any issues anyway - just check from the PS3 and you'll see the expiry date.

Does Okami get better? I'm just a few hours in but the game is kinda boring so far... it's basically: Get to a new place, get rid of the curse, explore it, repeat.

No real puzzles and the combat really sucks, this is no Zelda...

It stays pretty much the same through out, you get new powers and it helps mix things up a bit in combat, you get different weapons that play differently but since the enemies are too easy it could get old fast for some.

They gave us F1 Race Stars in February. If they're going with a more realistic race simulator this time around, I'd expect it to be something like WRC: FIA World Rally Championship 3 which incidentally was released around the same time as F1 2012.

If they really woul give all EU PS+ Binary Domain, they would have to give Germany something else again since we got it instead of Sleeping Dogs. I think that's to much of a hassle so they just won't give out BD for a while. Was positively suprised by Binary Domain. Had more fun then with Vanquish.

Well Absolution has divided opinion on its quality.
Dishonored would more than make up for it for those that didn't enjoy Absolution, not to mention you can either play it as a homicidal maniac, stealthy assissain or a freaking GHOST (you complete missions without anyone ever knowing you were even there).

Racing games? Honestly I'd want All-Stars Racing Transformed, mainly so that those that missed out on it, will find out how much of a fun and amazing racing game it is (I want it as a Plus freebie for US Plus). This was my GotY 2012, and I wouldn't be surprised if it were a contender for other people's 'LTTP GotY 2012' this year.

All-Stars is another great suggestion. But I just think Dishonored and Absolution clash a bit on genre grounds, not necessarily quality. Anyways, here's hoping it's as exciting as we want it to be.
