I approve of this month's offers. I haven't picked up Marvel Pinball yet, so I'm very much looking forward to that, and Tomb Raider Underworld should be a great game as well.

I wish to confirm that I was able to purchase a code from Cruzader and extend my PS+ subscription for a year. Thank you, Cruzader. I will be posting in the B/S/T thread about this as well.
 
My PS+ account has finally expired.
Signed up on Day 1 (or close to it) 6/28/10. Expired on 12/07/11.

Checking my download history/transaction history and anything PLUS related is gone. Which is good because there was A LOT of shit in there. I downloaded every free game they offered.

If I was to re-activate my account at some point would those items previously downloaded/"purchased" become available again?
 
I'm going to let my subscription lapse. It's a great service but I'm just not as heavily into PSN now as I used to be for it to be worthwhile anymore. The Marvel Pinball freebie is tempting but I barely touched Zen Pinball, which I paid for, so what's the point? Was a fun ride though.

I'd argue the service is much more worthwhile the less you're into PSN. Much less likelihood of the deals being for games you already own.
 
How do I share my PlayStation Plus games to another user on my console. My PS3 won't let the other user on my system play any of the games I've downloaded. is this possible?

If you login with your PSN credentials within those profiles it should work.

Did you download them, then add more time on to your subscription? What I found out was if I downloaded something from say a 3 month sub, the expiration on it is the end of that 3 month sub. If I extended my membership to a year even before it ran out, the game's expiration would not update. You'd have to redownload the game again for the expiration to update. Very annoying.

Wanna know what sucks more? All the free games I had from before the PSN outage had their expirations during that time and when it came back up, even though I had extended my membership and was technically never not a member, all the licenses had expired. Even with a call to Sony they said some licenses they just couldn't give back because during the outage I was technically not a member. Bye bye Sonic 2.

1. You don't have to redownload the entire thing to update the expiry date. Start the download then cancel and the date is updated.

2. If your subscription never ended all you have to do is start the game and the expiry date will be updated. I only found out about this after someone posted it in this thread.

Did you check the entire download list? I remember that at some point in June or July they "refreshed" most of my PS+ content. Anything that I got through PS+ prior to that date had that date as the "purchase" date.
 
yeah it sucks. if you let your psn+ sub lapse for even a minute, you lose all licenses to free content you downloaded, and sony will not give you them back. I learned this when I downloaded streets of rage 2 during my 1 month free trial, and lost it when i waited till 10 minutes after midnight to subscribe for a year the night my free trial lapsed.

Not true. My freebies in the PSN outage trial were restored when I subscribed to PS+ a few weeks ago.

I used up my free month of Plus in june and renewed in late september. Had access to everything from back then. Just enter the store and take a look at your download history.

The date and time on my PS3 were wrong when I purchased 1 yearsof PS+. Was set to 2:30am 12/23 when it was really 1:30am 12/24.

It still says my service starts 12/23/11 and ends on 12/22/12 after updating my date and time...

Says I made the order on 12/23 in the transaction history...

The local time clock doesn't matter anyway, there's another clock running I believe so you can't trick it or whatever. Remember the PS3 apocalypse a while back?

Edit. Wait. I'm downloading a free game right now and it says 12/23/2011.
 
It's late and I'm tired. Maybe it's based on West Coast time? It's still 23rd here. I think the main clock is based on West Coast since that's where SCEA is.
 
After I choose to download a game and keep shopping, why does it keep me locked on the game and disable menu selection movement for a while?

I don't get it. You guys in NA? My streets of rage 2 (and a couple other games) i downloaded for free during my free trial all started reporting that the license is no longer valid when i try to start them ever since I let my subscription lapse by 10 minutes. These games are also not in my download history. Everything I downloaded around the same time is there but they are definitely not. Only option it gives me on PSN is to buy them. And when I emailed psn tech support, they said this is how it's supposed to be and told me tough luck.

Yeah I'm in NA. What you're describing was a problem in Europe that they said they fixed IIRC.

And he's saying it wants him to pay for that content which he shouldn't have to. This was brought up in this thread as a problem in Europe 3 months after PS+ first started and it was fixed. This is apparently a new problem.

Disclaimer: I've been hooked on PC games and my TV is near dead anyway So I haven't had joy in using it. I got a wild hair to buy PS+ in the middle of the night.

I DL'ed the Marvel Pinball game, and Sony thought it would be cute to push every PSN+ related item all the way to the fucking top

I bought Tales of Monkey Island Bundle during the process, bought it first, it was on my list 1-5 after Pinball started and activated, now it's 170+... GOD FUCKING DAMMIT, GIVE ME FUCKING TABS or FOLDERS, or a FUCKING SEARCH BUTTON, Please

My Uncharted 3 Online Pass went from 10 all the way to 185 >_<, what the flying fuck
