2) You can use any game activation on 2 consoles, so yes. If your brother has a profile on your console, you can use his games, assuming he only has one console himself.

Try installing the Uncharted files (game, multi player and movie) one at a time.

Online passes =/ Season passes.
As far as I know it's only the online passes that have gone away. Online passes are the stuff you need to buy so your second hand copy of the game can access online play.

You can delete old game files from the 'Game Data Utility' folder - I had 200GB more space afterwards.
Sony have only said that they'd be abandoning them on PS4. We don't know of any other PS3 SCEE multiplayer games after The Last of Us, so can't tell about them, but I'd expect Killzone Mercenary will have one on Vita.
Is it just a case of him logging into his account on my ps3 and his games show up?

^^^^ We were talking about EA. EA dropped all Online passes and you can download them for free on PSN for the games that had them.
Sony said is gonna drop them for PS4 since it's charging for online play via PSPlus (so it would be nice if they were dropped for PSPlus users on PS3 as well, but that hasn't happened yet).

He has to have an account on your PS3, and download the games from his profile. You will then be able to play any game he has downloaded, on your own profile.
Is that a setting?

I still found it pretty funny that after all the "No online passes!" stuff from Sony that I had to enter a passcode for The Last of Us a few days later.

Anyone know if you can use multiple PS plus free trial codes? Are they tied to your account or system?
if you make a new account everytime you use a trial code, i guess so.
I have PS+ in Germany and Sleeping Dogs never got free for germans so i used one of the generated 30 days trial codes from the GraveRobberX post and made me a new UK account. After downloading Sleeping Dogs, i played it on my main (german) PS+ account without problems (with trophies). Never tried it but i guess i can't play it anymore because the 30 days from the trial are long over.

What happens if you're in game when your trial ends? Does it send you back to the main menu?
Where do you see that? I thought it was dropping this morning?

so i have a launch ps3 60gb version, i refuse to buy a new hdd this close to the ps4 launch, so i had to manage a way to get this 40gb bundle downloaded (would need 80gb because of the way ps3 has to get the full file before it installs)
there are three downloads you need total
the free to play multiplayer 0 this is the actual bootable file
the single player experience - the single player game
single player 2d movies - as the cutscenes arent rendered real time
it cuts about 15 gb off the total download

Not that good of a list IMO. Shadow of the Colossus is cool, and Arkham Asylum would be cool for those who have not played it yet (which is likely only me), but that's about it.
No, there's no direct link between the EU/NA updates - we don't know the July NA list yet.
Oh man, that 'among others' is a nice way of saying 'a bunch of crap you probably already have or don't want'. As a new PS3 owner I was hoping for a big sale to grab all the PSN stuff I missed like Journey and Tokyo Jungle so that list is pretty disappointing.
Stupid question, is the SOTC in the sale the one in the Ico/SOTC HD collection?

I don't see why they wouldn't update tomorrow. All the PSN Summer Sale and movie stuff is changing tomorrow. A July 3rd update makes less sense than a July 2nd update for the US, if the holiday is everyone's concern.
Nah I'm in for Batman and SotC. Scott Pilgrim is a fantastic deal at $2, but I already have that.

Same here. Missed out on quite a bit of good stuff by waiting so long to sign up.
Looks like SotC/Ico probably won't be part of the IGC judging by the sale price for SotC. Oh well, still a great deal.
They should be announcing July's offerings this morning (US PSN) and then release a game every Tuesday when the store updates.

I can't check PS+ right now. When does Demon Souls and SOTC leave PS+, I looked on the website and didn't see a mention on the Euro website.
