I want AAA games for free because I typically don't buy a lot of AAA games (or any games period beyond niche stuff that I'm already a fan of), and it only makes sense for me to want my free games to be the ones that would cost me the most otherwise.
Not everyone spends a lot of money buying games, so getting major releases for free is a huge deal.
Yeah it is on the store, I was just saying if it was an EU PS+ free game it would be amazing, as an American PS+ game it is a massive disappointment.... Not sure if this thread is still playing that game or not
i don't get why it would be amazing for EU and not for US..and on a side note it would be a disappointment because every PS+ subscriber who likes the genre has already bought it..

This is a good position to stand by. Get the games you absolutely can't live without but without breaking the bank. Plus has been good for the free games alone. Spending 60 dollars a year to play free games is more than worth it. Even if you don't get to keep them, you have no reason to complain since you have a long time to beat then (assuming you buy a year).
Simply playing the free games they provide is a ton of time. Especially when lots of them have some form of online.

hard to please everyone. some people are LTTP on everything, so those would like more AAA game.
It's best to try to have a good mix of AAA and niche games, which of course is easier said than done no doubt.
I tend to fall more into the LTTP category, so I'd personally like to see more high profile games, but would also would like to see more retail games like 3D dot game heroes or Valkyria Chronicles (although those aren't even on PSN afaik). They might be well known to neogaf, but I don't think casual gamer Joe Blow knows about those.

I think a christmas game would be rated T. or pegi 16.
Dont know if it will be 3, but definitely expecting a God of War game. Remember the new one is out in March - giving a God of War game away around Christmas would help get a lot of people playing and into the series again.
Isn't that as humongous in size as MGS4?
My guess is batman ac, some ass creed game, an HD remake or force unleashed 2.

EU version is 39.5GB.
that means not one single original Phat PS3 can download this game, because it would need 80Gb space to download.. (unless people have changed Harddisc)

Well, they could probably release different versions for each country with their own audio files, instead of all in one, but it would still be a pretty huge download.

I would hate having access to a single language release of God of War. Gladly, I've already finished most titles (only missing Ghost of Sparta), so it wouldn't be bad for me. I really hate the french VO of GoW series. Kratos has a terrible voice that doesn't match his english VO at all.

You don't have to complete it before it gets removed. Just add it to your download history to keep until your subscription runs out.
Yeah I know. Just when people start to list PS+ games it always brings it home how far behind I am... >_<

Might I suggest prioritising Double Dragon Neon. Its fun, it's reasonably challenging, it doesn't take itself very seriously..
..and it has a really great credits roll.
