I'm curious, was this some promotional code or just the code off a one year card? I was interested in buying a three month card if I ever see some games on PS+ sale that I want to get, as I have a ton of PSN wallet funds I got for cheap, but I was always under the impression that putting in the code from a sub time card would just activate a non-recurring subscription.

Yes. Maybe I'll try my other card but other people are reporting similar issues and my card is fine and I've double checked the info. I haven't tried yet today either. Maybe I'll give them a call.

My PS3 does not have any credit card account. I signed up for Plus exclusively with money cards. No CC necessary.

On a related note, I still can't remove my credit card from my Xbox Live account. They wouldn't let me take it off until my Gold account expired. It now expired, but now suddenly, every computer I use to remove it isn't "trusted" (the "trusted" computer has been broken for over a year). And it won't let me change it. Oh Microsoft.

I think only 30 day trials require a credit card.

RE5 Gold, KOF XIII and LBP2 already paid the price of the sub, I have Arkham City and Limbo in Steam, so if they at least add Vanquish it would be great.

This is amazing on the handheld, I already had it for PS3 but somehow this just feels/looks better to my eyes.

So happy, my favorite game from the Xbox era has returned to me.

30 day trial codes turn into 90 day recurring subscriptions when the trial period ends.

If you still want to check your sub date you can do it from the SEN site by clicking on your PS+ trial or by looking at the expiration date of one of your PS+ games. You can also do it from your system by going to Account Management -> Transaction Management -> Services List.

The whole point of free trials is to convert them to paid subscriptions. Otherwise they're just handing out a free month of service for no reason.

No, a lot of people have said that it doesn't hold up. I wasn't a fan of JSRF personally, so wasn't interested in picking it up anyway (but will happily give it another go if it comes up in EU+).

Cause they're hoping you'll forget to turn off auto renewal so they can make some money off of you. It's the same thing with most trials whether they be netflix, xbox live gold $1 dash offer, newspaper/magazine trials, etc...

If you resub after three month eg. you can access all the stuff you had before. Sony keeps this for a while when your sub ends. No difference between trial and full year.

Huh... THAT explains why Burnout Paradise showed up in my download list all of a sudden. I had a free trial of PS+ a few years ago and downloaded it, but forgot to actually play it.
