Can PS+ subscribers play FF Tactics on a PSP, or is it just Vita?

Thank you, I'll try that out. Guess I missed my chance on downloading infamous 2, hopefully things get sorted out before the store removes those games, and from now on I'll get plus games even if I don't want them, just to be safe!!
I'm 99% sure they'll work. I remember playing some PSone classics I got on Plus on my PSP.

Yep. Tactics is the PSP port of the PSone game, so it works like any other digital PSP game for that matter.
Why? It's what the EU does, and they're doing quite well from what I can tell. If that were to slow sales, why didn't the US announce their six Vita titles one week at a time or something? All at once is a good way to make a splash too, and get people to buy Plus and be part of the ecosystem, which is the overall point after all.

Brilliant, thanks. An unexpected reward for re-upping my sub. I missed out on all the ps1 games from the first few months of ps+.
It's kind of cruel. Not only does the US usually get the worse part of the deal but they're also given new hope every week that this time they might get the good stuff.
I'm surprised anyway that we're seeing so few Sony published games.

As long as your subscription is active, yes.
I'm actually going to disagree - at least in part - with the earlier responses. In *principle* you can, but what we don't know is whether the PSP supports whatever the technology required for "Does this user have an active PS+ account?". I've no idea how exactly that one's going to pan out, but it's possible that there may be issues.
(At least, that's assuming the PSP titles even bother to check!)

It does support the PS+ DRM. They added it to the firmware (FW 6.30) when they launched the service so Minis and PS1 freebies would work on the PSP.

Are you non EU, or an EU region (in PS terms anyway... Australia?) that the game didn't get certified in? If you're listed as en EU account I'd suggest asking on the blog (if it hasn't been asked already).

Was Bioshock 2 a let down? I mean it was on sale for $5-$10 in almost every store within the first 6 months.
No Vanquish, of course 
I got it for $5 about a year ago. Didn't finish it because the pacing and level design is terrible.

I am only partway through it, having bought it and played about three hours when it launched. I will now sell/trade the disc and play the PS+ version.
I played all of Bioshock and enjoyed it immensely, although I don't think the narrative was how I would have played it out.
It should have ended when facing Ryan.
Or...
It's really fun and has great combat. I enjoyed it a lot!
The bad part is the shoehorned multiplayer.

This is only the second instance that I already have a game in the Instant Game Collection (BioShock 2 on Steam).

Agreed. I played through it long ago but found myself surprised by just how well executed the whole thing was. It was impossible to fully live up to the original, but it still managed to be thoroughly entertaining and interesting in and of itself. A good freebie this week.
This will be my first bioshock so I'm pleased. Especially after using big daddy in all-stars. It might be interesting.
I find it that they only put this out on plus with bioshock infinite coming in a few months. Irrattional/2k has really been pushing for bioshock on playstation, and I applaud them for their efforts though I found it strange.
Bioshock was a timed exclusive in the beginning for the 360. I still haven't played it yet, but might give it a chance since it comes for free in the ps3 version of infinite.

I'm not a huge fan of first-person shooters most of the times, I've heard mixed things about BioShock 2, and having not played the original, I have little interest in its sequel. I'd rather we get games that were stand-alone titles, or perhaps the first game in a series.
I'm sure a lot of people will be happy with this, but part of my frustration is that Europe has been getting a lot of games that I do want to play (Vanquish, Red Dead Redemption, Batman).
Batman AC is the second game in the series and references the first pretty heavily.

BioShock 2 was decent. Being able to use both hands for combat was an improvement, but it lacked some things that made BioShock so special to me. I approached Survivor difficulty on 1 very much like a stealth game once I got Camo, Hypnotize Big Daddy, and hacked turrets and cameras with some of the Wrench tonics. One of my favorite things about "survival horror" is that point when empowerment sets in and what was once scary becomes fun. BioShock had that in spades at the highest difficulty, but I never got it so much in the sequel. The tacked on MP was kind of a bummer but was more fun than it had any right to be.
Kind of bummed they seem to have dropped the preorder discount on D1D games. Would've loved it on Hitman and Far Cry 3. At least they're available on day 1 though.

Yep. Sony made a big move on D1D, and they need to keep it up.
I bought Doom 3 BFG because of their D1D offer. Surely that was beneficial for the dev/pub.

It's why I am not a huge fan of retail releases in general though as I own most of the retail releases I would want to play.
oh well it's a solid release for those who enjoy shooters and haven't played it. Hopefully next week brings something a bit more interesting, the beauty of weekly updates is you can always have hope for next week instead of knowing it will be a bad month
