The law only says that you aren't allowed to make 18+ games available for minors. Since on PSN they made it so that a purchase verifies that you're over 18 (since you would either have to use a credit card or buy points which are rated 18+), the only problem is free content. By joining Plus you verified that you're 18+, so free Plus content is not a problem, that's also why they sometimes have 18+ demos as Plus exclusives.
MK, however, was never released in Germany, so for that it doesn't matter anyway.

I got a UK 1 year Plus membership given to me as a gift a couple days ago and I tried to use it but I'm guessing it isn't compatible with an Australian account? it tells me the code is invalid (and the code was sealed before I opened it so I'm sure it hasn't been used yet).
Will anyone be willing to help me out and trade me a AUS compatible 1 year plus membership for my UK one? it's a long shot but I thought I may as well ask.

I hope Knytt is better than Chronovolt and Big Sky. Not been impressed by either of them. I'd rather they just gave us some PSP games over these.

I have a plus subscription which renews every 3 months on my account and I would prefer to just add time to the same account rather than using it on a different one.
They had a sale, it wasn't very good.

The digital version is way snappier for me, even more than the installed disc version. Sounds like a latency issue.

It could be a hdd issue. I'm not sure what's happening. When I used the timed demo, the loading between matches was nearly a minute. Is there some way to defrag the hdd or find a way to speed it up?
I compared the loading time speeds on SSF4 disc (with the optional install) and SSF4AE, with the same patch and all. And the downloiad version was slower about 2 seconds on all loadings (selection screen, loading matches, etc). And there is a weird hiccup on the Arcade Edition in some places.
It means that I wont sell my SSF4 disc anytime soon.

I know this has probably been answered 1000 times but if I download a free game now and my subscription expires next month and I don't renew until after it expires, will I have access to that game when I renew?

But if you re-register, you do regain access to your complete download history.

Has anyone tried to boot up the ssf4 disc after installing the ps+ AE game?
I tried to see if I boot up the disc, would the AE stuff be unlocked.
First the game boots up but you need to DL a patch so if you hit download, the game goes back to the XMB and doesn't do anything.
If you op not to download the patch, the game returns to the XMB.

When you try to play the game after you renew it will do something for 5-10 seconds then start up, happened to me a couple months back when i wondered this after my ps+ expired

They don't usually discount the year, but you can try and find cheap PSN cards (effectively lowering the price) or they sometimes run a promotion where you'll get 15 months for the price of 12. Haven't seen one of these promotions for a while though.
I think Europe (at least Germany) had a couple of PS+ discounts for a year sub recently. I think it was 25 % (37,50€
off beginning of September? Possible Discounts should emerge now at the pre holiday time. If not, i don't think there will be one till next year.

You could have gotten 3 months for 9,99 just a few days ago, that's 40 for a year. I doubt there will be another deal this year.
You couldn't stack that deal unfortunately.
We had one in September, and then we had the discount on the 3 month last week (which could be used to cheaply order for a year)

I think i'm going to bite on the discount for Most Wanted tomorrow/midnight tonight. Its either that or far cry, and I think the multiplayer of most wanted will probably be more fun.
I hope it gets a good discount, better than modern warfare would be nice EA. The price will decide if I get this or far cry.

I'm prettysure there's no time limit on it, you just re-sub whenever you want to and they should reappear on your download list if you put them there before.
