PlayStation Plus Thread: Plus What? PLUS EVERYTHING!

nothing that GTA has already done before

there's more beat'em up gameplay but Batman does it better

the story is your typical triad gang/drug dealing as seen in tons of HK movies

the graphics are hardly mind blowing or pushing the systems limits

Guess it's personal preference but I found it incredibly satisfying and fun just to mess around in the world. I suspect it may be that my playthrough is more like this though:

With the occasional mission thrown in for good measure (and to be fair the missions so far have had a decent amount of variety). Had no problem with any of the mechanics either.

Like Saints Row The Third but more realistic and therefore more fun to do bad things in. Also, Wei Shen is a highly enjoyable protagonist.

just have noticed too that the silly process that forced me to go through the payment process for free ps+ stuff was removed.

DL right now sleeping dog and the 2 other games.

1 thing Sony : fix the playstation store NOW !!! its so f*****g slow. Look at amazon, it's fluid, fast, efficient. Your app takes AGES to show up and navigation is SO slow. Do something.

I will never again use the PSN store from my PS3. Just use the web store.

I guess since they have to actually upload the game for Germany first (instead of just changing the price), it might take longer until it's available.

Quantum Conundrum has now frozen twice in my first 30 minutes of playing. What a great experience.

Only froze once for after a few hours of play.

I highly recommend QC, the humour is actually pretty great and the gameplay is awesome, I never felt so smart completing puzzles before!

I got stuck on one puzzle though and haven't played it since :V

There is a bit of a sleeping dogs DLC sales as well in the EU.

Any of it worth it? I might just spend my remaining 7 euro of PSN credit on random bits just to show my support for the Sleeping dogs guys.

Poor German Plussers, not getting Sleeping Dogs after all.

Yep:

Note: Following the recent announcement that Sleeping Dogs will be available to PlayStation Plus members this month, the title will not be available to German consumers. Unfortunately we cannot confirm at this time what additional content will be available to German Plus members, however we are working on a solution and look forward to updating you soon. We apologise for any disappointment and appreciate your patience while we resolve this matter.

Have any major JRPGs on the PSP, Vita, PS3, or PS1 Classics been free with PS Plus before I became a member about a month ago?

I'm a PS Plus member for the next year, but nothing given to me so far has had enough substance to really make me think about resubscribing.

Wow, why even confirm Sleeping Dogs for germany beforehand? I hate my countries regulations in regards of censorship.
This has nothing to do with Germany - there's a USK rated version of Sleeping Dogs.
This is either Square's or Sony's fault.

People are rightfully upset about this and the excuse "German laws" cannot be accepted anymore. Yes, there are laws that can be a pain in the ass for Sony and other publishers but Sony chose to offer PS+ in Germany, they chose to come out and say "All content will be exactly the same across all regions", they chose to confirm the game's release over and over again, and now they're choosing to do absolutely horrible customer service.

Sony just doesn't seem to be ready for Digital Distribution, customer service in the time of Twitter and Facebook or anything. They don't get that they're not talking to journalists who are perfecly fine with hearing "We're working on something, trust us ;) ;) ;)", they're now talking to their customers directly and they're treating them like idiots. People know someone has messed up, people know that someone's working on a fix. What they want to know is

a) What exactly went wrong?
b) What are you doing to fix it?
c) When will it be fixed?
d) What are you doing to prevent this from happening in the future?
e) What are our options when it comes to refunds and things like that?

Get the information out there. Be honest and don't freaking hide behind NDAs all the time. They have to start talking to their customers, especially when they mess up. The "we're working on it"-line just doesn't fly anymore after they've posted it every week for five years or something like that.

If there wouldn't be such strict laws in germany, there wouldn't be a special censored USK versions and they could've released the game without problems in germany too. Of course it's also Sony's or Square's fault, but the origin of the problem is that the game had to be censored due to our laws.

Well, hopefully Germany will get something okay-ish instead. I was not looking forward to a censored version of Sleepy Dogs anyway, so I'm not even disappointed.

Sony has promised Germany will always be getting all the same content. Sony has promised Germany will be getting Sleeping Dogs. Sony has reassured people who were unsure. Sony has failed to communicate their "last minute changes". Sony has failed to work out an alternative.

Germany's laws are not an excuse for any of this. No one blamed them for saying it will be the cut version. No one, everyone knows that that is because of German laws. Screwing up over and over and over again is their fault.

Absolutely not. The only kind of similar game in terms of worth would be Hitman(?) and I doubt they'll give us that one.

There was Final Fantasy Tactics PSP that came out about two months ago. Before that, Final Fantasy V about... eight months ago?

In short, there's not been much. The only hope is that various types of RPGs won the genre request poll, coming in at #1, #3, #4, and #5 iirc. Modern JRPGs and classic JRPGs were 3 and 4 I think.
