Got a question fellow gaffers, I downloaded the 1 hour trial of ME3 a while back and played my hour, also kept the game on the hard drive. Can I somehow just continue the game when the update hits, download the full game upgrade or what? Would be really nice to just continue on without re-downloading the game.

Does anyone have any prediction whether PSN/PS+ will get IP restrictions anytime soon? I'm moving to Europe in the summer and I'd like to keep my North American account. How big is the risk of buying, say, a few years worth of PS+ and then being locked out from downloading anything? Any ideas?

USA is just a single country, and the large retailers like Gamestop probably have a much tighter grip around Sony in the US. EU is more fragmented, with different laws between countries, smaller retailers with much less power as well as game prices that often fall to one third of launch price after a couple of months except for CoD and FIFA. Basically all games are bomba in UK(not from there, but used to buy my games from there before Plus).
NA PS+ games will stop working once your NA PS+ subscription runs out even if you're an EU PS+ subscriber.

Yes, it depends on the game. I had ME3 on disc then sold it. I recently bought the ME trilogy digitally on PSN and my saves from ME3(disc) works with the digital version.

It varies from game to game, I'd get confirmation of the specific title before taking that risk.
You couldn't buy them on the same account, but you could obviously play them on one account (PS3 anyway).
No, you make an EU account (if you don't already have one) and buy EU PS+ on that account. You can then play games from both accounts on any other account you have on your PS3 but features like auot updates and cloud saves only work on the orginal PS+ account for each region.

Not necessarily...I got F1 Race Stars from EU PSN, had my US PSN account do a scheduled update, and it updated it for me, so for some titles it ignores region it seems.
Once you "bought" the games on your NA or EU account , you can just play them on one (your main) account. Got Sleeping Dogs from the 30 day trial code (because german PS+ didn't get it) and played through it on my main (german) account and got all the Trophies for that account.

It surprises me how people don't know this. My main account doesn't have a PS Store, and I mainly buy stuff from my brother's EU account or the US account I made.
If memory serves me right, any CC will be accepted by the EU PSN account even if it is a US CC.

So, your brother can access your account from other consoles in other parts of the country/world and play all your games for free? That seems... unbelievable, especially with how much publishers try to nickel and dime everyone...

And MGS HD for vita along with all those other vita games (Uncharted, wipe-out etc. ) is really enticing me to buy a Vita. Only thing stopping me at the moment is those damn memory cards.

No, they're region specific. As mentioned above though, you can buy the content on two different accounts and play it all on one account.
Nope. Digital games on Vita are locked to that account.
You can still swap accounts and play the games on the same Vita, but it's clumsy and you're out of luck if you're into your trophies.

Anyway, very happy with SCEE today. First the awesome PS+ update (their best yet IMO) and then they backtracked on the R&C Vita delay make-up game.
