Nice. Already beat Spec Ops on PC but now I can play through it again for some trophies. Also really loving that Vita sale, going to pick up Dokuro, Sine More, and Orgarhythm.

Top: Get PS+

Is there a way to check your PS+ status in the web store?

If you hover over your name in the web store and click "Purchase History", any of the PS+ free games you downloaded should have an expiration date on them that indicates when your PS+ runs out. Other than that, I'm not sure if you can check your status for PS+ specifically.

Thanks, it looks like my subscription ends in December 2014. Now I just need to decide if I want to get in on this $40 for 15 month offer...

Well, just subscribed. I forgot that when you subscribe, any Plus downloads get pushed up in your download list. Kind of annoying. Next gen we should get a download sort.

I like the cut of your jib, sir. I personally pay just for the automatic updates, so yes, the games are a free bonus. Totally, totally free.

I PAY FOR THE FAT PRINCESS AVATARS. The rest..scraps.

Wow, saw the list for this month and almost crapped myself with joy. Thought surely there wouldn't be any complaining for a change. Was quickly proven wrong.

Couldn't be happier about Disgaea 3 and The Cave, both games I had planned to purchase in the future anyway. And Spec Ops is exactly the kind of game I like showing up on PS+. I'd never buy it, but I've heard enough good things that I'd be happy to check it out for free.

Amazing month! Always wanted to play Joe Danger 2 and The Cave, heard great things about Spec Ops, and haven't played a Disgaea game since the original PS2 game.

Sales are looking good too, I'm glad I held off buying Sine More, almost impulsed bought it on Vita a few weeks ago.

Happy for the Cave. Everything else is just okay. Spec Ops & Joe Danger 2 are good games but played them already on Xbox, and don't care about Disgaea. Ah well, that much more to look forward to when April comes around.

Aww, the EU PS+ 30 day trial codes require a credit card? How are US people using these? =/
It'll accept some US cards if you enter your info (minus the country/state) while trying to redeem the code. It's still picky though cause it doesn't work for everyone.

Ha ha.

But seriously guys? Do they update on tuesday mornings or afternoons?

sometime between 1pm est tuesday and 5am est weds.... usually between the hours of 4-9pm est but it's hardly steady.

usually when there are a number of things on sale it runs late so 8pm-midnight wouldn't be surprising for this weeks update.

Really want a Vita, I've been saving up PS+ games for the day... but dem memory card prices. Going to wait til E3 and if Sony remains stubborn I might just give in.

I've been using my AMEX on both the U.S. and E.U. stores where I have accounts, and while my card is from neither of those two countires, it works!!! ;-)

None of this is free. I paid for this service. I don't care about generic shooters and PSP games so all I get for "free" this month is Joe Danger. Exciting!
A whopping four dollars a month, for a service that includes cloud saving and automatic updates.

I have a question, pretty simply too. Why did they remove the add to cart option for free PS Plus games? Rather annoying having to select each game and start the download whereas before you could just add the games to the cart and not have to worry as the game would be in your download list.

Wasn't the far superior LBP Karting just $10 in the recent 13 for 13 sale?

As a karting game for the Vita I thought it was pretty good. The only downside is the framerate can get janky at the very late stages. But like I said, I thought it was a pretty good game and can truthfully say I had fun with it.

There's been a few websites lately selling 1 year PS+ subs for £29.99, but I'm currently subbed until around October next year.

I can't decide whether to get another year now while the price is cheap, in case it's raised when "PS4+" is detailed, or wait in case they announce changes that would impact the value of Plus (replacing free games with another feature, for example).

I've stacked up 3 more months during the 9.99 promotion they had a couple of weeks ago on my 12 months sub which I got for 39.99 during last Semptember's promotion. I'm just gonna wait till gamescon or something to see if they announce any more discounts on Plus and then I'll stack up even more then :-P

Eitherway, even subscribing at the normal price is a steal for what you get.

do UK PSN+ subs work on other pal territories?

if you mean if they work if your ps3 is located in Germany, then yes.

If you mean if they work if you use a german credit card, then no.

(Germany here is used as an example)

Oversight by the team handling the store interface. The old store gave you the option of either adding free stuff (demos, plus games, etc...) to the cart or directly downloading it. When the new store launched they removed the direct download option and you had to add everything to the cart, including demos. People complained about the process requiring so many checkout screens for something as simple as downloading a demo. Instead of reverting back to the old cart/download option they replaced the cart option with a download button.

Use the webstore. It still has the cart option and it's better cause you can add to cart multiple items from one page instead of going to each individual game page. When your done checking out just go to Account Management -> Transaction Management -> Download List on the console and you'll completely bypass the shitty console store interface.
